Provided it stuck to the original story with a few visual effects flourishes, a Valley of Gwangi remake could be LOT of fun! Thing is you'd need someone who is a Ray Harryhausen afficionado. At one point, my friends and I hoped for Peter Jackson or Guillermo Del Toro to spearhead a remake of Gwangi. But honestly, I think they're more likely to stick to projects they already have going on, but imagine for a moment if Gore Verbinski (another Ray fan) took it on as his third stab at the western genre.

Alt Dracula story: Goliath & co show up somewhere during the world tour, get spotted by a local, and to their shock he yells that gargoyles are not allowed there and they need to return to the castle. Confused but intrigued, they find the castle and learn that it's home to vampires, gargoyles, and their human allies, and it's owned by Dracula himself. As it turns out, Dracula & the other vampires are now rather chill. The area's surrounded by wolves, bandits, and all kinds of criminals, making things very dangerous for regular people, so the humans live at the castle, guard it by day, and occasionally donate blood to feed the vampires, while the vampires and gargoyles protect the castle and their human allies by night. And it works for everyone. But outside the castle, a religious madman and his brainwashed followers team with bandits in a plot to destroy the castle, slaughter everyone there, and plunder its wealth. And they're using Goliath showing up where gargoyles weren't allowed to finally get the support they need to kick off their plans. Plans that are disrupted by Elisa citing international terrorism laws and threatening to call in a military response. And then Dracula captures the leaders and cites a local law, that states that anyone who endangers his people become his bloodbag.

This would be an interesting idea. I could see Dracula has a great villain for the show and possible love interest for Demona. While Frankenstein is a protector and guardian to the people of a neighbor who are under constant threat from gangs and outside forces who wish them harm. Could you even imagine the wolfman and Creature from Black Lagoon in the series? The Wolfman is a lone wander trying to rid himself of an ancient family curse that turns him into a werewolf. While the Gillman was taken from his home in the Amazon and was taken to New York, only to escape during a hurricane.

The co-creator has confirmed that Dracula does exist in this universe and that there were plans for having him cross paths with the Clan. No such plans have been mentioned about Frankenstein's Monster, although Coldstone has clear parallels. The fact that Xanatos clearly references the famous "IT'S ALIVE!!!" scene seems to indicate that the fictional Monster exists in-universe, which may indicate that the character is fictional there. On the other hand, Dracula as a fictional character was also referenced in the show, and the Halloween episode showed someone dressed as Dracula, so who knows? Hopefully, if the Dynamite comics continue, we may get to see.

I think that your Frankenstein scenario is very similar to the movie I Frankenstein. It has Frankenstein's Monster and Gargoyles, and Demons, if you haven't seen it, I really do recommend it.

I wouldn't call Gargoyles a slightly obscure anime. More people know about it and it's not anime. Close to it though.

Drac and Frank would have been perfect for the "world tour" arch and honestly would have been formidable oponents for the gargoyles, especially if they were made accurate to their respective books.

I like the idea of adding the most famous of movie monsters to the Gargoyles universe. I think the Mummy and the Wolfman would work as well. I've always thought this animated series was under-rated, under appreciated, and deserves a serious reboot. It is one of my favorite animated series of all time.

Yes that's a great idea to see these mythological monsters take on the Gargoyles perhaps Dracula and the Frankenstein monster appear in a two-part episode and eventually either team up add fight each other or fight the Gargoyles in one story he kidnaps Eliza in order to make him her his bride either Dracula or the Frankenstein monster for the Wolfman appears as well

Vampires and werewolves were mentioned as being part of the Gargoyles' universe in the episode "I'll Met By Moonlight" where we got to see Oberon and Tatiana in the flesh. I like the idea of Dracula being a twisted mirror of David Xanatos. And your Frankenstein's Monster story for Adam seems perfect for the world of Gargoyles. And on the subject of Dracula. Have you seen the animated DTV flick THE BATMAN Vs. DRACULA ? It came out in 2005 alongside the ongoing Kids' WB animated series THE BATMAN. Set in that world. Dracula, voiced by Peter Stormare, is resurrected in Gotham City after accidently being revived by the Penguin. Excellent flick that pushes the envelope on its PG-13 rating.

Gargoyles are monsters. Dracula is a vampire (monster) and Frankenstein's Creation is man-made (monster). They would be perfect for the show.

What about the Wolfman? What if the Invisible man was in the monster squad as Dracula’s spy?

Not gonna lie, if they use Book Dracula for the crossover, it would be an interesting foe for the Manhattan Clan to face off against. Imagine an immortal monster who could grapple with Goliath and give him a decent challenge with his hypnotic powers. I see this as probably a teamwork boost for the clan as they would try to stop the bloodsucker before he consumes most of New York.

The gargoyles are probably immune from vampirism. The story should involve Dracula preying on Alissa.

With Frankenstein's Monster I can actually see him ending up with the Redemption Squad, the group of ex-antagonists with the surviving Hunter - Robyn Canmore-, Dingo (post his encounter and merging with the Nanite intelligence Matrix), Yama (the Gargoyle of the Japanese Ishimura clan who betrayed his clan), and Fang (of the Labyrinth Clan led by Talon). They were featured in a the Spin-off series Gargoyles: Bad Guys that ran for 6 comic issues.
