German house act. Their release "Get Down" (1999) used a sample from "D.I.S.C.O." originally performed by Ottawan The name 'Avant Garde' is derivated from Daniel Vangarde AKA Daniel Bangalter, producer and composer for Ottawan, but also the father of Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk.

How much I HATE it when a song of 3 minutes consists of a dull intro of 1 minute! Is this really necessary?
If the Dj wants to beatmix this song into the previous one, it's a perfect intro. You can tease the intro through much of the previous song and play with the vocals also. So yes, it's nice to have=)

Was this track composed for djs or for the consumer? I don't care what djs need. When I download and/or buy a track I want to listen to it and enjoy it. I can not enjoy it when one third of it consists of nothing more than intro. A good dj can work without overlong intros.
