I have no idea what the reference is to some dude dancing in his car? or whatever it is people have mentioned in the comments of this video 😄 40 year old here - on a nostalgia trip today finding old beats I haven't heard in forever 🤙
I remember about 10 years ago when this track popped into my head, I couldn't for the life of me remember what the lyrics and I searched for weeks and weeks for it with no luck, until I typed in 90's dance tracks into google, it took me to this old webpage from the 90's and it was playing in the background of the website. shazam'd that shit and was so happy. push that feelin' on.
+Jules Hitchen OK this is funny, but this morning I woke up with this track in my head, but I couldn't remember the name of it. ANyway I was chatting to a friend about 90s one hit wonders, and we found this youtube mix. I played it and hey presto up this one comes.
+Jules Hitchen Yep...like so many others, I was searching for this track 3 or 4 years ago. I decided to search the top 40 for almost every year of the 90's before something felt familiar when I saw 'push the feeling on'. I haven't forgot the name since although it does normally take me a few minutes to remember :) Love to revisit the track from time to time....a classic.
Still sounds fresh in 2024, and an undeniable timeless classic - and that's why it's been endlessly sampled! Unbelievable. MK hasn't aged either - one of the originators of this vocal chopping business!
This tune is the one that made me fall in love with house. Thank you Nightcrawlers. I was 8 years old and raved at the primary school disco knowing I will DJ this type of wicked music one day! Top 5 favourite tunes of time! One love x
the late 80s with the buffalo boys to the end of the exclusive years of house in 96 was the peak time. when blair got in everything went south with every1 jumping on board. it's no exaggeration to have prince, mick hutchens, naomi, kate, linda, tyson beck ford, marcus sheckenburg, jp gaultier, bob geldof at the coolest most select clubs in london. i got stories of days.truly magical times.
I have memories from clubbing 88-96 ,back2basics, strawberry Sunday, Hacienda, Quadrant Park, love2b, club UK, final frontier, Vague, Doncaster Warehouse, the Tunnel, etc etc that will live with me forever and sometimes the memories seem so unreal it's like it was a dream that went to quickly 😢
but what are the lyrics ever since I seen a comment saying the lyrics are “there lives are gay there lives a pool a sperm” that’s all i here so what are the actual lyrics ?
From ramjaw on songmeanings, with edits from me: The lyrics don't make sense on their own, they're cut up from the 1992 release. Original Lyrics - "And those who suffer pain, will begin to live their Lives again. And this world will be a place to learn, but its up to you, to pull us through." Re-sampled Lyrics - "Their Lives again / Earn / Their Li / to pull us" (Main Loop Throughout Song) "Place to learn / Their Live / it´s up to you" (Secondary Loop) Added / Earn / to ramjaws lyrics. Removed "through", from / to pull us through. Minor corrections in spelling. Also John Reid, the lead singer, have said: "Marc (the DJ who mixed the original 1992 release) brought it (the track) into the '90s. He only used that one vocal line out of the chorus, that nobody seems to get-namely 'your lies will pull us through'-in a very striking manner."
That explains why it's such a melancholic song. It always reminds me of standing outside a teenage-classroom (or on the funfair, with the loud sound-effects mixing in) and leaving early, leaving behind all the dancing happy people, while you walk into the dark blue night, with the moon shining down on you.
Remember when this dropped in club, the good thing about music us that it can be an original, it can have a renaissance, it can become nostalgia or it came become iconic
Oh my God, the 90s were the last good years of history and the world. They were all like a fairy tale. After 2000, humanity woke up to a complete hell.
I used to dance like crazy every time i heard this song on. I miss this era so bad. video clip were so cheap. People knew how to make good catchy beat. feeling so nostalgic

And here we are, 30 years later, listening to it again.
🙂yes
And people will find it when we're long n gone ,
When the song is ahead of its time.
90’s songs are timeless 😍😍😍
It was right on time. Gave me an unforgettable (underage) first club night experience!
right!? this song has the same vibe as various crystal castles songs
This song was not ahead of its time, it was like many other songs the sound of the 90s. Music has regressed since then, I can no longer count the shit that came out in the 2000s and 2010s.
This is the most 90s thing ever.
Try: 2 Unlimited-Tribal dance Thanks me later :D

I have no idea what the reference is to some dude dancing in his car? or whatever it is people have mentioned in the comments of this video 😄 40 year old here - on a nostalgia trip today finding old beats I haven't heard in forever 🤙
I remember about 10 years ago when this track popped into my head, I couldn't for the life of me remember what the lyrics and I searched for weeks and weeks for it with no luck, until I typed in 90's dance tracks into google, it took me to this old webpage from the 90's and it was playing in the background of the website. shazam'd that shit and was so happy. push that feelin' on.
+Jules Hitchen LYRICS? Not keen on dance but this song keeps bringing me back. Something special.
+Jules Hitchen OK this is funny, but this morning I woke up with this track in my head, but I couldn't remember the name of it. ANyway I was chatting to a friend about 90s one hit wonders, and we found this youtube mix. I played it and hey presto up this one comes.
+Jules Hitchen damn bro, same happened to me.. then suddenly i heard the song in the gym, instantly turned on shazam, there you go.
+Jules Hitchen
Yep...like so many others, I was searching for this track 3 or 4 years ago. I decided to search the top 40 for almost every year of the 90's before something felt familiar when I saw 'push the feeling on'. I haven't forgot the name since although it does normally take me a few minutes to remember :)
Love to revisit the track from time to time....a classic.
+Jules Hitchen Glad you found it mate!
One love x
Came to see comments about Lando Norris' radio check. Wasn't disappointed.

I AM A HUGE F1- can from when I was a teenager in 1994!... But this was one of our "anthems" we danced2 at University in London 1998-2002!...
@90s Greek child Dimitris hotel room service uptown funk and random edm song mix...
British house music actually cannot be topped
the late 80s with the buffalo boys to the end of the exclusive years of house in 96 was the peak time. when blair got in everything went south with every1 jumping on board. it's no exaggeration to have prince, mick hutchens, naomi, kate, linda, tyson beck ford, marcus sheckenburg, jp gaultier, bob geldof at the coolest most select clubs in london. i got stories of days.truly magical times.
Lol it can
Помню .как лихорадочно записывал их на магнитофон .году так в 1996 .находясь на даче.до сих пор в восторге

Mert salih napıyorsun burada 😁
From ramjaw on songmeanings, with edits from me: The lyrics don't make sense on their own, they're cut up from the 1992 release.
Original Lyrics -
"And those who suffer pain, will begin to live their Lives again.
And this world will be a place to learn, but its up to you, to pull us through."
Re-sampled Lyrics -
"Their Lives again / Earn / Their Li / to pull us" (Main Loop Throughout Song)
"Place to learn / Their Live / it´s up to you" (Secondary Loop)
Added / Earn / to ramjaws lyrics. Removed "through", from / to pull us through. Minor corrections in spelling. Also John Reid, the lead singer, have said: "Marc (the DJ who mixed the original 1992 release) brought it (the track) into the '90s. He only used that one vocal line out of the chorus, that nobody seems to get-namely 'your lies will pull us through'-in a very striking manner."
thank you
Actually was trying to figure out the lyrics, thought it didn't sound english
and finally, my 25 year torture is over!!
That explains why it's such a melancholic song.
It always reminds me of standing outside a teenage-classroom (or on the funfair, with the loud sound-effects mixing in) and leaving early, leaving behind all the dancing happy people, while you walk into the dark blue night, with the moon shining down on you.
Also, I always thought it was; 'The light will not get- hm, the light will pull us through. '
Есть мелодии, которые никогда не забудешь, а услышав даже краем уха, погрузишься в приятные мысли. Эта одна из тех
И того же мнения!!!!!
Все так
Согласна с вами!

Remember when this dropped in club, the good thing about music us that it can be an original, it can have a renaissance, it can become nostalgia or it came become iconic

потому что мир двигается вперед, музыкальная индустрия идет вперед. Никто не стоит на месте и не застревает в прошлом. как бы это должно быть понятным. собственно и вопроса бы не возникло. 😂
