It isn't an enhancement but an annoyance. Gunite - I shoveled it on a conveyor for $1 hour when I was 14. My step-dad built pools. It is a dry mix - the water is mixed at the nozzle when sprayed on.
Im in the process of calculating costs of to build a minimalist home for a family of 4-6 with pool, decent back yard, outdoor entertainment area etc. basically essentials then extras like the pool. im only 18 but feel like having some sort of a plan would be good for the future and it will always be handy to have the 3d designs laying around.

Not all companies have Spaniards working. The best concrete guys I've ever seen are actually black and white. Yeah, def. Not the US. I had to take a second look at the guys shorts, was like..uh.... Waaht? Lol
I don think Spaniards work concrete much outside Spain. European builders are more wood, stucco or brick. Hispanics like Mexicans and Puerto Ricans, on the other hand, are well skilled with cement. By where I live I only see whites building pools and they do an excellent job.
I build pools. I have done this exact thing many, many times. I cannot get past the idea of wearing shorts to do it. That concrete is blasting onto that wall and quite a bit rebounds. The smallest amount of cement and sand/gravel in your boot and you are done. That stuff is crazy alkali, and the constant friction of skin on rubber boot with a gritty alkaline material in between. Does anyone else see why I'm soooooo freaked out? I duct tape my boots shut, wear a long sleeve shirt and a respirator. They are doing a great job otherwise. I love shaping concrete.
