Theres also a mod on never that allow you to spawn calcifer from howl the moving castle in the wizard tower. The mod is so cute cause calcifer will follow you around ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Well hot damn, what a blast from the past; I'm the one who made the Ghibli Scarecrows waaaaaaay back in the day :D To see them show up in a vid years later is kind of crazy, but thank you for showing it off nonetheless!

I tried to check you the Nexus page for the mod (check the description for the link) and can't see Alex, though perhaps the banner picture on the top gives you a glimpse? There might be a good picture of Penny, if they made her short haired, I can't quite tell who it's supposed to be.

though Nino please consider checking out the dateable Caroline mod (sy_mokarin Dateable (and marry) Caroline)
I think it's safe to say Pierre is one of the most disliked characters (If not the most hated) in Stardew and this mod literally lets you date and marry his wife and Pierre has some dialogue if you do marry her. And unlike with the mod that lets you date Robin where it had her story arc be that she and Demetrius split up before you arrive in the valley, this mod literally says "that let you marry her (and cheat on Pierre)." (Admittedly I can't confirm or deny if she is still married to Pierre when you do court her, I'm just quoting the mod's description)
there are 2 known bugs with the mod but they're not that bad, they won't break your game.
one is there will be two Carolines in the wedding cutscene if you do marry her
the other is a bug where she rejects your wedding proposal despite clearing the requirements to be able to marry her. It's advised to just restart the day and it should clear that up

I really love the Ghibli makeovers for the gingers in this mod! Every single one of them were absolute slays!! We didn't see Maru or Haley, though, so I'll have to go look them up. But, thanks for sharing! Now that I have a Steam account, I'm going to look that one up. ...now, if only I could figure out how to use the mods...

My friend had modded stardew valley while I played on the Nintendo so I didn’t get the pleasure of mods. one day when I got a computer, I downloaded it and now I have as many mods as I want
nino!!!! there is a game that is SUPER similar to stardew valley on the apple arcade store called Japanese Rural Life Adventure!! it’s super charming and adorable, and i’ve totally fallen in love!! it goes so much deeper into that japanese countryside culture, including complex recipe and crop mechanics, among other adorable details! it’s gorgeous, and i super recommend trying it!!

On Nexus there is a comment in the "posts" tab that has someone explaining how to place the folders, perhaps that helps? Otherwise maybe the SV discord could help?

Like Nino said, the mod is very outdated. Also, sprite mods usually require you to go into the files and swap out the files yourself, can’t just download and open.

Ghibli with a "G" sound is perfectly fine to say and not wrong at all.
The Studio was named after an airplane with the nickname "Ghibli" and guess how that is pronounced? With a "G"
"Ghibli" with the "J" sound at the beginning is simply the Japanese pronounciation.
