- The long awaited sequel in the Floor is Lava Challenge. This is one of my favorite Stardew Valley Challenges that I do, so I'm glad I can put my Stardew speedrunning skills to the test and finally try this Stardew Valley mod out again!

I feel like getting the firewalker boots should make you immune to the lava damage. Maybe that can be the end goal or something
I feel he would ban it because it would ruin the challenge

@@Moonstruck_Arrow getting those boots barely takes 5 days if you know how to do it well, wouldn't that be too easy and boring?
@@dumfu I think it would be a lot harder with the floor being lava and all. Unless seanie just farms 80 staircases or something, which would be pretty difficult too (and boring)
Sean since you can walk just fine on hoed grown, why can’t you make your crop beds like normal? The rows seem pointless for anything but the trees..

Imagine how funny it would be if the ground was ACTUALLY lava, and you could only traverse by watering it like in the volcano on Ginger island
Actually, according to Wiki, Speed-Gro does give you one extra Blueberry harvest! While it only speeds up the growth of the plant itself (and not the regrowth), it speeds it up just enough to get a 5th harvest in total.
You may as well romance Harvey after all the time you spent with him in this video 😆

16:14 according to the wiki, speed grow on plants with multiple harvests only works on the **first** harvest's time. Which can mean you get a harvest more out of it before the season changes - I tried to do a 3 strawberry harvest in year one run, with cc no Joja because I obviously hate myself - and it can be done*
*if you manage to hit level 3 Farming on day 12 and level 3 foraging on day 8 at the latest, and copper bars and enough wood to make the tappers for the pine tar, and don't forget to get clams, it can be done. Just not by me so far.
Usually you get 3 harvests out of exactly 20 of your strawberries - because you get your cauliflower on the day of the egg festival, and you have just enough time to plant your strawberries and get to the CC to turn in Spring crops and get back to use the 20 speed gro that you get as a reward.
I've never tried to get 3 harvests from more than 20 of them before...
I forgot about the Speed-Gro from the CC! My challenge is based on doing it with homemade Speed-Gro. My strawberries!
Got 2 minutes in, loved it, went back and watched episodes 1&2 to catch up - great series!

This is one of my favorite series you have Sean. When you finally compete the CC, victory will be so sweet!
It took me 100 hours playing Stardew to figure out how OP making and selling seed packets are in the beginning game. Only one of each forage makes a seed packet of 10 and it sells for around 500g, doesn’t sound like much but it adds up FAST and it’s a perfect way to use up regular and silver quality forage since it barely gives you any energy anyways
Well this series is really fun, hope it keeps going in the future. Come on, we want to see you finish the game while fighting the deathly horror of endless lava..
it's funny how much gaming RUclips has changed. 10 years ago we would've gotten 1 episode of this a day, now it's like 1 every 5 months lol
SEAN THERE IS A MOD THAT GIVES YOU A MINI HOT SPRINGS ON YOUR FARM!! It looks like a little pond but gives you the healing of the spa, you should get it for this series, I definitely think it’s fair

The iridium ore also occasionally spawns in the quarry!

You could unlock the quarry and try to find iridium there. You could unlock panning to get Omni geodes, which can contain iridium.

The reason they put you a couple of squares into a map when you enter is so you can immediately turn around and exit the map without having to walk further into it, in case you accidentally stepped into a map. It’s a common game design technique!

Okay but why didn’t you show the beginning, setting up the paths? If you can already walk anywhere at the start of the video the „floor is lava“ aspect of the video is lost
