the fact that this song is eight years old, and that i only now know the meaning behind it makes me think about how much i've grown over time, first time listening to this song was around middle school, about six years ago, it might be because of my experiences, but from what i've gathered, it's a song about unrequited love from a childhood friend and the person trying their best to deal with it, but ultimately it leads to them spiraling into a severe mental breakdown. i'd delve even more into this, but it'd be a bit too dark.

so that wasn't what i meant, but i'll still respond to that. i honestly have no idea if that's sarcasm, because it seems way too much like it, because slapping oc onto something doesn't make it original or creative, and "secret evil talents" or "family member dies in a horrible way" are some pretty cliche traits, actually.
though it's really because an "animation meme" forces the person making it to follow some sort of formula rather than the person doing whatever they want. if you don't get what i mean, you'll notice if you look up a specific "animation meme". they'll all be relatively the same other than having different characters.
