As a mole catcher at 78 living in Buckinghamshire where did you get the shovel please I still use a trowel it would help me now as I have just had a knee replacement love your video and look forward to more.

Unfortunately I was not able to film myself checking the traps as I had quite a bit of work to do at different places on the day I checked them. I did put the totals at the end of the video though, 10 traps down and six moles caught. Pleased you enjoyed the video 👍🏻

Bit of overkill with the 17 HMR isn’t it?

the simple answer is no, the .17HMR rimfire round is perfect for long range rabbits and short range foxes, the small fast 20gr hollow point does this job well. If you take a look the .17HMR is used all over the world for rabbit and fox control. I hope this has helped you understand this calibre a little better. Thanks for the comment 👍
