I have the camera and agree with nearly all of your points: It's very handy and records great quality images; but the lack of a tilt screen and the reflections from the screen are a real drawback. I also noticed that you missed out telling people about the truly eye-watering cost of the viewfinder attachment
I have this Gr3x, too, often I go out with it and another 23mm camera and for me I mostly use 23mm, perhaps 85%. 40mm is too narrow often. I will sell my Gr3x and will buy the normal Gr3. Using Crop function I can have 40mm, too, yes with less bokeh.
Had one for about a year then traded it in for the C-T5 & X100VI. Nice and compact; if a little cramped, but I found it a little slow to fire up and to take shots. The lack of weather sealing and the slow autofocus finally finished it with me… blooming expensive too for what it is! 🏴
Good review - I have this camera and it’s the only one (other than a phone) which will easily fit into a tight jean pocket - good / fair review - Thanks
video, it's a lack of seriousness, you present a camera that can be put in the pocket the Ricoh GR, and you walk around with a big bag, I don't understand, you are really ridiculous

Yeah, it can be an issue sometimes, but its the price to pay for such a small form factor. And yes, the viewfinder is pricey!
Fantastic review! Thanks so much.

Yeah the 40mm equivalent isn't for everyone - fortunately the 28mm eqivalent GRIII exists. Enjoy!
