    Two things I have found really useful while doing the 4 way stretch in my van have been a couple of fairly strong magnets and a box of drawing pins. Both are like another pair of hands depending on what your carpeting

    I just purchased a Nissan NV200 and I plan to do exactly the same thing you did with your interior. And I plan to do it because I was very impressed with the results that you got. But I live in Japan and getting materials to either more difficult or more difficult, and often both. So my life would be so much easier if you could tell me how many yards/meters of that of the 2m 4-way stretch material you used. I’m guessing either 5 or 6m. Perhaps 6 bc you probably too the material for the roof ribs from the end. Same help would be appreciated for the reflective foam, although I am having a real problem finding a place that has it in stock AND will ship internationally.
    Back to watching your videos. I’m sure you know I find these extremely helpful.

      Hi, thanks for the comments, glad you like the van build. I bought 5m of carpet for the walls and 4m for the doors, but had a fair bit left over of maybe 8m in total would be better. But if you have the van definitely measure yourself before buying, good luck with your build!

      I have wind deflectors installed on the front windows, so just keep both open a bit during the night. Bear in mind this is just a leisure vehicle for camping in - if I lived in it full time I'd have a fan installed

    hi first say i love the work you are doing with that nv200 looks great. But I have a question, when you put that carpet you do not have the concern that with the condensation mold will be generated in it? In other conventions, they are very careful to use water resistant materials to avoid that, I do not know if you have taken it into consideration.

    • @LensOfJames
      @LensOfJames  4 года назад

      Hi, condensation was most definitely taken into consideration. I had stayed overnight in the van many times prior to carpeting and so know where condensation forms. I added insulation in those areas before carpeting so that it won't be a problem. Also, please bear in mind that I only use the van as a camper for a few weeks each year, so it isn't constantly exposed to condensation.

    • @JorgeMoralesLuiz
      @JorgeMoralesLuiz 4 года назад

      @@LensOfJames Thank you for answering me, I want to camper my Citroën Berlingo but on the issue of insulation, ventilation and condensation I find contradictory information, I suppose because of the difference between people who live in vans and those who use them some weekends as I intend. Perhaps the best thing is to do what you have done, go for a weekend with the bed furniture (which is the only thing I have made, and see what happens. Thank you very much.
