I recently bought a Galax GT 710 1GB DDR3 for 18 USD It comes with a fan I bought it for an HP 8100 Elite SFF PC Noticed the gaming performance is obviously bad, So I did a bios mod to unlock the power limit and voltages, And did a 440 MHz OC on the core and 380 MHz on memory, I got 50% increase in performance, Of course I'm talking about the Kepler 2.0 GK208B, Max temp is 69 under full load, And got around 1350 graphics score in 3dmark firestrike! I enjoyed watching your video, I always have fun overclocking underpowered GPUs ^^
Aww man, you did the gt710 dirty. You should have bought the 2gb ddr5 the fan version. I can hit 100 fps on low 1080p and on medium its around 50~60 fps
@@IcebergTech how many versions are there of that accursed card that will not be named? I hate when NVIDIA does that. Why do they intentionally muddy the waters? That should be illegal, and honestly I think it might be.
I really enjoyed this format, it’s a nice break from strict benchmarks and into something more fun, like a distilled version of the UHD benchmarks. It also got me thinking about the value of overclocking low end gpus. It would seem like that’s where the most value lies in overclocking. Since proportionately the frequency matters more on less powerful cards. I wonder if there are enough cards for it to be a series
I really like these types of videos where multiple low and gpus are compared head to head in the same scenarios. Could we go even lower end? Maybe a 500 mb card showdown in games like Skyrim and left 4 dead?
I like the idea, but it doesn’t really fit my plans for the channel right now. If you want to see content like that and haven’t seen them already, I recommend Socket Sanctuary’s “Sh*t card showdown” series: ruclips.net/video/vDFs7WiM0nU/видео.html
Good video. I just realized the other day that the passive Evga card with x8 pcie that I use to mostly diagnose pc's that don't have integrated graphics isn't the gt 710 I thought it was, it's a gt 720. Doesn't seem to be much, if any of a difference.
please answer my question. which is better for next 2-3 years, GTX 750 or Quadro P400? The graphics card is used for light video editing and also live streaming webinars.
I'm afraid I don't have a definitive answer here, as I haven't done any video editing benchmarks. The differences I can see that might be relevant are: VRAM (GTX 750s have either 1, 2 or 4GB, P400 has 2GB) Display outputs (GTX 750 will have a mix of analogue and digital display outputs, P400 has 3 mini Displayports) Drivers (both are still supported, but GTX 750 is 1.5 generations older and is more likely to lose driver updates before the P400) Video encoding (GTX 750 appears to use either NVENC 4th or 5th Gen depending on your model, P400 uses 6th gen) Size (GTX 750s can be a bunch of different sizes depending on which version you buy, P400s are all low profile and can use a half height bracket)
I’m pretty confident the 1280 v3 can push 200 FPS or so in Valorant, so the K1200 will be the bottleneck. You should expect similar FPS to what you’re seeing in this video.
@@elm889 I haven't got any Valorant numbers for the K2200, but in other games it's between 10 and 25% faster than the K1200. It won't fit in half-height builds, if that matters, but it's still single slot and has full size Displayports rather than minis.
with all due respect, your video is great, but your rig is too much inadequate for this cards. Your results are not comparable to the Optiplex an HP prodesk of the world. Anyway, excellent video
No Gpu users rise! Kinda sucks that you don't have the fan version of 710, no fan really sucks since most of GT's problem lies on temp control (but most of their other specs is good even the cheaper ones), also yeah there's no way to overclock Quadros, well you technically can, but it'd die out on you before it could even have a chance to boot up (overclocked my Q410 and it smoked)
This might be one of my favorite videos you’ve done. I caught Covid and so I’m staying home watching all your videos in reverse order from your most recent back to your first, and all the GT 710 jokes have got me laughing even if only weakly 😭. It’s impressive to see how far you came in relatively short amount of time, I believe I subscribed when you were under 1k. A P400 fell on my lap... sooooo - on a X470 - Ryzen 9 5900X with 32GB @ 3200 C16 On Doom 2016 you can get 35-40 FPS on 720 High - or 30-35 FPS in 1080@ 85& scale with a mix of Low/Med details. I wanted to check more but decided to find wet paint and watch that for a while.... I might try Eternal for giggles - or RDR2 for the masochism....
What game should I test the tiny trio on next?
Csgo runs similarly to vallorent you should try that next
I would say GTA 5 is the best bet. Can it run AAA? Still very popular game and not an Esports one.
Fortnite and GTA5.
Dead Space 2008
Flight simulator 2020
Thanks!

Anybody having issues with the P400 not being recognized on Windows 11?
Already instal Driver? Or put cable in gpu?
can you test the intel core i1 next?
its when you take a k intel core and lock all the cores except for one in bios
Would the k1200 be good for gaming with the g5400?
Quadro P400 is the Workstation GeForce GT 1010.
While the K1200 is the equivalent of the GTX 750 Ti.
Close to them, anyway. The K2200 is the 750Ti equivalent (640 cores), the K1200 is more of a plain 750 (512 cores).
