I'd vouch for more game analysis from Grubby. They're as enternatining as B2WC's, and more in-depth than Crota's.

Watching this and listening to the commentary makes me think the Blizzard developers back then were absolutely insane geniuses. Nothing like the current Blizzard dev team.
It's crazy what can be done when you truly care about what you do and have control over it. Blizzard used to be so next level they have been coasting for almost 2 decades in their truly brilliant games.

@@feeltheslipstream no great game does not go through a long period of balancing until it gets to a point where everything is in the line or very close to.
Warcraft 3 is no exception.
The thing is War3 has the original idea that gives it the potential: RTS with RPG elements, and that is built on a beautiful graphics and lore which helps you feel the characters.
There are flaws in War3 of course, but that happens to everything, even human, not just games.
Nobody can deny that War3 is such a masterpiece that lead to many other masterpieces in the last 2 decades.
Yes, DotA is born in War3, then LoL is born after DotA, and so many more games that are built on the base that War3 has given.
The devs are still Just as brilliant and passionate man, it's the fucking executive team that gives low budgets, impossible deadlines and force the members of the Dev team to work on uninspired garbage for fast money so they can cash in and bail out of the job as fast as possible that actually killed blizzard.

I always love when pro casting highest level of game, we can get so many insight and perplexed with their gameplay. But most of them are not so good at casting, and here we have Grubby, who is pro and very good at casting
yeah exactly they just keep talking random word salad with hype words in between who either hit or miss with no actual knowledge behind it
@@daebibsi agree with a lot of what you said, apart of the knowledge part, they do know, even we know. But yeah Grubby is just something else.
@@jaymxu yeah knowledge was not the right word for it, i meant these 50/50 guesses where they go like "oh they made X now its gonna be big dam/huge heals/game changer whatever and if they're right it seems like they knew exactly what they were talking about, and if they dont then its like "oooh this actually didnt go as planned". after a couple wrong predictions it just starts to get annoying
@@daebibs Right i know exactly what you mean, i also can't stand it when announcers are saying things sounding so obnoxiously certain... When it's obvious that it can't be certain. Especially when they make a mistake.
I remember long ago i believe Blizzcon 2015 when Grubby was invited all the way over there to announce for Heroes of The Storm, it was the first time that he was finally recognised to do something like that... It was like FINALLY. And i remember it being SO GOOD that they FINALLY got Grubby. someone who knows absolutely everything he talks about... He talks when it was needed, and he didn't mind being quiet to let people think when he was thinking aswel.
I can't stand them like u said with their "big words" that mean nothing just to have their mouth open, or to build some hype... Which is so dumb itself because the real hype comes from the gameplay, not from what they say. Grubby is just so good.

i watched this on stream, but im so happy grubster decided to upload this. Having the ability to replay this in video format and analyze all the plays happening is nice
Warcraft 3 aged so well and if they didn’t mess up Reforged who knows what game could we have now

One suggestion for next time, ( I sure hope there's a next time! ) is to hide the progress bar that replays show, it's a spoiler to when the game ends. I know RUclips videos have length time too, but honestly I just click on your videos without looking at it.

Obviously. Those guys made a lot of mistakes that Grubby just doesn't... I mean everyone loses now and then, but Grubby has the highest chance to win his games with the amount of skill he has. Grubby!
@@jaymxu grubby knows he's good but he's very humble about his skills, the main reason why his skill isn't inferior to top players, maybe even superior to some is because he isn't arrogant and just plays the way he normally plays, which is being very analytic and smart, that's why i think he's the very best..

Shredder Gather speed:
Wood per hit: 10 | 1.35 Tree attacks per Second.
Wood per Minute: ~444
Peon Gather speed:
Wood per Hit: 1 | 1.1 Atk Speed
Wood per Minute: ~54
Therefore the Shredder is about 8.2 the speed of a Peon.
(Not including the walking speeds to deliver the wood)

Edit: Also.. good point with the aboms. It seems like they should counter a lot of current meta builds like "ted fiend", but they don't seem to be viable when I get them out.
Grubby has such a diverse skill set. It's great to witness a consummate professional such as he.
Sadly, aboms are no more than glorified grunts until they get some sort of active ability to help them engage.
@@theonielson1007 Yes, he is the best wc3 caster in my opinion, he knows more about the game and actually provides analysis on a pro level. Definitely true with the aboms, I have tried buffing them with vamp aura and unholy frenzy but even then they seem to get targeted and I typically don't get more than 3 out before fights >_

Hard fought battle. I feel Spirit Walkers are kind of mandatory for Orc vs UD no? All that ice armor and dark ranger skeletons they can deal with while providing spirit link to dampen damage. GG
Good Video, i learn so much i can use vs insane ai later. I notice they macro ranges fast and effectively. Is there a way to make the ranges a group and access them fast with a key?

Grubby, I'was wondering 2 things about this replay:
11:58 Would you disregard his TP to destroy his bestiary at any cost?
Instead of 120, would you stop banshees or produce less (if you don't plan to master it), either for necro or even few abos?
I'm very confused by 120 after his 1st TP on many other aspects, even the 1st expo without towers, or the 1st BM harrass without nerubian tower.

Hitman has the Lyn army. This is the most flashy way of playing orc, but again also the most micro intensive. Blade + SH + TC is the strongest tri hero when given the right items imo.
Yea it was a hero diff. Unfair that orcs have these insane heroes.
yeah the orcs won't lose if they get levels.

I remember Vsing Hitman once. He some crazy stats with 0 losses and his blademaster was crazy. I had one with better stats and a little better opening game but his guy knew how to hit and move in such a way that made my blademaster looked .... I dunno any appropriate words, but I lost big time
There is luck in the items but the luck doesn't matter in the long term as it becomes pretty much equal for everyone over time
In Starcraft you can sometimes go for timing attacks aimed at killing your opponent before they truly reap the benefits of running an expansion they just took. It seems the UD almost nailed such a timing here.
What's the reasoning behind giving all the dps boost to Lich ? Is it because he has range or because he has higher attack rate than DK ?

Timed attacks are definitely a thing in War 3 also.
Lich being ranged is a distinct advantage for dps when compared to the melee DK. Most often players value DK as a tanky support hero with strong healing via coil and unholy aura.
Meanwhile Lich has significant attack range and a great attack animation for orb of corruption debuff.

I dont understand how orc army is able to fight double the size of the undead army when pros play it.
Never understood why statues were recruited from the slaughter house. Temple would feel more thematic. Maybe it’s some balance thing I am not aware of. That choice could have given abominations more opportunity to be recruited

Can someone tell 120 to switch to aboms halfway through the game, I mean he needs a front line in a long, multiple expo, tier 3 game with 3 heros each. Fiends don’t hold up in this configuration, he should know that by now.

I just feel like orc is stronger and easier to play than undead. I’ve watched quite a few games recently and everytime the orcs win at any elo in this 1v1 matchup😂 at least unless Grubby is the Undead player

What was so special about this game? I mean I of course understand that both players are god level and totally respect them but I didn't feel there were any really special moments to put this specific clash as especially recommended IMHO. No offence, abuse or disrespect were intended, sorry, just describing my feeling after watching, I have examples of way more interesing matches in mind

Grubby, with all due respect, but Hitman is not a top-tier player by pro standards. We all saw Happy *toy* with him and beat him like a pro beats a 1,800 MMR player at Raraland. Compare this to Lyn, who is 65/35 Vs Happy and has beaten him even with ping disadvantage(when playing at the CN North Gate at WC3 Champions before ping equalizer tool). Don't get me wrong, Hitman is much, much better than me and is top #5 Orc in the World, but he is not at the tier that 120 is. Ladder games don't mean much. 120 is the player with the highest win rate Vs *both* Lyn and Happy.

At 13:46 dk even uses dc to heal his own unit instead of killing the TC.
13:35 was the first opportunity to kill him, 13:46 second.
But then again, coil probably saved Lich at 13:35
