I don't understand how blue and purple managed to rebuild their army everytime while Grubby had the control on 2/3 of the map and goldmines almost all the game long. 🤯
maybe his bat strat was very funds inefficient, btw, his enemies gathered almost the same amount of gold. Still does not understand how. And blue... he had less map controll and still somehow got almost 100k gold
This game was Gradi in a nutshell: animal & treant harass, fight with 80-100 pop 1-2 times (loose both), then "fly under the radar", camp base with mass APs teaming with strongest oppo, while chatting on the lowest level of english that is conceivable yet somewhat miraculously still understandable.
So I watched this match entirely, and I know very little of Wc3R, but THAT!... THAT WAS *EPIC.* Thank for uploading this insane match on RUclips, it was worth watching! And respect to Gradient and Iluminate to have been this tenacious!
Almost three hours of FFA but I don’t mind. It’s action-packed and really entertaining. One of the better, if not the best, available FFA match-ups on RUclips. I just wish Gradient didn’t leave. I do like Night Elf.

Watched it all, thoroughly enjoyed it, it reminded me of old school RiceFFA replay packs when there was no anonymous player name (I think they changed it there because he would get auto teamed every game (but still managed to win an indecent amount of those)). Thanks for the laughters man!

He's pretty inspiring. And seeing him evolve as a player and person has been a unique experience. True pro and fantastic host. Hope he stays successful and I can one day personally thank him for keeping warcraft alive for so many sleepless and stressful nights
Yeah it's always fun how FFA could either be anything from the most chaotic, hectic, and shortest match you've ever played in your life, or it could become a literal Purgatory for all players unlucky enough to be good enough to not be easily eliminated.
You occupying eastern gold mines reminds me of orcish expedition in ashenvale forests, led by grom and warsong clan. When they destroyed your bases was just like what happened in warcraft lore as cenarius led elves to destroy all orcish bases.
Hahaha i m so glad you posted this : battle of titans ^^, what a marathon. Made me think of what occurs when two gold saints fight each other in Saint Seiya : the battle lasts for 1000 years ^^
Absolutely insane, massive kudos. Loving the manipulation, never seen it at that level. I would never have the stamina for FFA, but it was really fascinating to watch:D
I love how much backstabbing there was over 2+hrs and it seemed like the thing that bugged Grubby the most was still Teal militia rushing him just a few minutes into the game :)

Dude, that's crazy! Reminds me on my big 3.5h FFA game back in the days of WC2 when the last 3 gang up on me at the end X) Only 1 of them was good tho. I had mage towers all over the map and we harvested most of GOW it was epic. Ok now you convinced me to start playing WC3 multi and try b gud
I miss the old huge FFA maps back when 4 players wasn't the max and you could have 7 or 8. I once went 17-0 FFA on a new account back in the day. Once they added far exp for your heroes (heroes used to have to be close to get exp) I would fly around the map with 24 copters and just snipe everyone's huge air armies for mass exp on the Human heroes, get level'd really fast and get insane items from the red maps. Crown of Kings was still in then, so you'd get insane stats and the ARchmage + Pal + Mountain King were literally an army unto themselves, particularly with gyro support. Good times. It sucks they dont have the huge maps anymore, even if 4 players is the cap now, which is fine since the queue time is so long, but damn I'll always remember the huge FFA's with fond memories. When I wasn't Human I'd go Alchemist for Transmute value + Dark Ranger for Charm value. Transmute has been nerfed since then though I'm pretty sure, but it was so hilarious.
