Nicely presented and well done not getting into the current hookless battle 😂 My S-Works Aethos in size 49 weighs in at 6.1 kilos including pedals, computer mount Garmin radar mount and bottle cages equipped with Sram Red 12 speed groupset! BTW The hubs are DT Swiss 240 internals.
If that's a new bike from 2023, then the price of 3200 EUR is excellent. Just make sure that the technical spec is the same as it came original: www.tredz.co.uk/.BMC-Teammachine-SLR-FOUR-Rival-AXS-HRD-2023-Road-Bike_257804.htm
Hey, if may i ask, what is your opinion on Colnago V3 TFS 105di2? Found one on a nice 20% sale (3.8k eu) in my local bike store and im really wondering if its good purchase for the money.
They use smaller rotors on the rear because there is no reason what so ever to use a larger one. The front does a vast majority of the braking as the weight transfers forwards, therefore gets hotter, therefore uses a larger rotor.
The whole idea of this bike is the simplicity of the set-up + servicing. For the exact same amount of money you can very much buy an SL7 or SL8, that would be with fully internal cable routing, and as aero as it gets this days. Aethos on the other hand, isn't for people who're looking to race the bike(even though it's definitely capable of whitstanding some local crits), but for people who choose simplicity and comfort in their everyday riding, over a slight lose in Aero

That bike for that price is perfectly fine. No complaints from me.
@@CyclingInsider Thank you

The Aethos is a noodle. Very flexi, out of the saddle demo bikes has the frame and forks flexing to where the rotors rub lightly
That's interesting. I haven't heard people saying that Aethos is like noodle.
Those bikes are for those who have the money to burn.
Indeed
Hi canyon top bike ❤
this is an apples to oranges comparison, the aethos is only three-quarters the bike that the TCR is.
I think a lot of people will make this comparison if spending $13,000 on a lightweight road bike.
La tcr è piu bella la aethos piu leggera , se ino in futuro vorrebbe cambiarle la tcr ha piu rivendibilita
I've ridden both and the aethos feels more special
😂
Really? You have ride Giant TCR 2025 model with DA groupset?
@@TenSapphires no the TCR before it
@@MarcraM82 well, this is new model been compared in the video.
@@TenSapphires difference won't be noticeable.
I can't understand this guy. Speak english. How much is the Giant?

$13,000 to have wires hanging out…
Yes. You can pay more if triggered, there is plenty workshops making them internally.
