The more I listen to this the more I understand what is wrong with modern American governance. The whole system is broken. I think that the hearts of Americans are broken. I think their minds are broken. We have forgotten all the important things we were taught by The Peacemaker, if, indeed, anyone in the dominant European culture ever knew them at all.

Very interesting historical information that could be put to good use today. All those US Europeans seem to have failed to remember that the longhouse system was also in use in Europe for millennia before the Roman's destroyed it. The Gothic cathedrals represent the way the Goths wooden longhouses were carved. So the native Americans and native Europeans lived in the same houses with the same spiritual symbols and built stone circles and megaliths for what was originally the same purpose that has been mostly forgotten over time. War is the enemy of civilisation. Irish Celtic monks also wore Mohawks long before America was re-discovered.
