Everything i ever put in classifieds sold eventually. And this is local classified 100s of times smaller than ebay. It is also true that i am not reseller i just sold my stuff that I didn’t need anymore, so maybe 30 items..
Way to work it! That is how it's done! In today's current condition's it will be a fun selling season. Think out of the box for maximum success. Paypal's stock up, up, up. Could any of it be based on seller sentiment on MP? Hmmm, will be interesting.
After my grandpa died, I was going through his stuff, which included a lot of junk. A lot.. in his catch all junk drawers, hidden among thumbtacks and broken craft supplies I found a rare Harley Davidson wings pin from the 1930s. I almost threw it out with the junk but decided to research it. Sold it on eBay for over $100.
Hey, guys! A few months ago I sold a 1994 Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge all over print tour t shirt for $125. I only paid $4 at a thrift store. Hands down, my favorite find.
Thank you I think I have one of these to list, Not sure, I know its vintage stones t shirt in excellent condition so Ill check it out! Thank you again!
When I first started, I sold a beautiful China cup, by itself, no plate or anything. I just picked it up because it was so tiny and beautifully painted. I paid .99 cents for it and it sold for $32.99 plus shipping. The lady that bought it sent me a message saying she was so excited to have found it. Her grandmother had broken a cup in her china and she needed to replace it. She was glad she found it from me. I will never forget that sale. It surely made me smile. I no longer source for cups. I'm afraid they will arrive broken.
Cj Florida nice score If you ever find a stief bear grab thoughs are worth big money Much any vintage kids toy doll or anything like that is worth money but some are worth more money than others
I was in Goodwill today and saw someone looking up an item. I asked him "Sellhound" or Ebay". He replied Ebay and I proceeded to tell him about Sellhound. Then I asked if he watched RUclips content and said I'd give him a list of my faves. Of course, you were on the list and he already watches you and loves your channel! Small and friendly world folks, I love it.
thanks folks. just getting into the game and just learning about all these channels. tough game when you are just starting. i have a large unsellable death pile. but the key is watching videos like this every day.. learning key products.. and improving your purchases every month to be more successful. i lose money on some of my items, but im starting to make some money here and there. super fun!
A couple years back I was helping someone clean out their basement and they handed me a porcelain figurine. I didn't know what it was, but it was almost perfect condition and beautiful. I did some research and it was a piece of Dresden lace porcelain. It ended up selling for more than $700 with $50 shipping. It was a serious PITA to ship because the "lace" breaks with any pressure, but we managed to get it to its home. But it pays to look up anything that feels "quality" even if I don't know anything about it!
I’ve been reselling as a side job on eBay for 2 months now and I had a GOLD find in my first month! I spotted a vest at SalVal that reminded me of my grandpa. Researched it and bought for tag price of $1.99 and sold it during my son’s football game for $300!!!! The tweed look vest is by Brown’s Beach Blanket and was a hunting vest apparently. I think BBB was originally owned by LL Bean then closed and was bought/reinvented by a Chinese company many years later. SCORE!
Sold a lot of 9 Tommy Bahama XL silk shirts for $145.85, Sold a Sony Noise cancelling headphones, $25 spent, sold for $160 and Ralph Lauren Double RRL Cardigan Sweater for $100, only spent $10 on that one. Boutique store missed that one, so that was a solid win there :p
This past week I sold a C.C. Filson duffel for $300 plus shipping, a Yeti backpack for $150 plus shipping, and a lot of Byers Choice Carolers for $250 plus shipping. The bags were $20 each and the carolers were a consignment where I kept 50% of the sale price.
Ryan I believe she means in regards to helping each other out when needed. And she is correct there are a lot u-tubers or sellers who won’t help you at allz
RUclips needs the option to watch all of your videos from oldest to newest in one long playlist. I'd have fun binge watching all of them. I already have your videos playing on the Roku most of the time, but it'd be nice to be able to see them in chronological order. I've seen quite a few of them multiple times. Not that I mind. ;) There's just something about you guys that brightens my day. All the info is appreciated too. Hugs to all of you.
These item sold for me in Oct. Among others..... $210 for a vintage adidas track suit, $130 for a vintage KC Chiefs starter jacket, $120 for a pair of Brooks Ariel 18 running shoe,
Bought a shirt in a local thrift store for $2. Sold it for $340. I had it listed for $399 and took a best offer. On the tag on the inside it said "made by Howler Brothers for Yeti down in Austin Texas" . It was called a Gaucho shirt. It had a big mouth bass embroidered on each shoulder.
My favorite over $100 flip is the jumbo Disney Bolt dog plush. Ive sold it several times. I picked up 2 of them for $5 each earlier this year. Sold separately for about $170 each (+ shipping).
Do y’all ever do a couple giveaways spots for ones that may not be able to afford it but really really would LOVE to be able to do it?? Thanks for sharing, love these $100+ videos and y’all always have helpful content🤩🙋🏼♀️🙏
If you live by the lakeshore in Florida, look out for vintage bronze sailboat hardware. These can go for a pretty penny. Sold a bronze porthole for $300 I paid $40 for.
I have been calling the Goodwill in Rockville MD about the ridiculous increase of their prices. I am also researching where the money goes that Goodwill gets for the items they sell. Do they really help people or is some fat cat getting rich? Goodwill gets this stuff for free donated so there should be an accountability if they’re going to claim non-profit status. Remember, they not only are supposed to help people with the money they take in but their CUSTOMER BASE are mostly people of very LOW INCOME and so that is also supposed to be a part of their mission strategy to help people. At a Goodwill I heard a customer say “I can’t afford that”. Should not be at Goodwill. Yes they have color discounts and half price days to get rid of unwanted inventory. Although, recently I have notice that whatever the color discount is for the week it’s hard to find anything in the store that color tag. I even caught one Goodwill taking color tagged items off the shelves and racks. WHAT? We who are resellers do A LOT OF WORK on the items we buy to resale. Goodwill takes in donated items and sell the items AS IS. We resellers on the other hand, clean the items to make them look presentable to our customers, photograph the items, inventory the items and prepare the items for shipment. A lot of work goes into what we do before we bring the item to market. Just ask these guys. “RALLIROOTS” We are customers too. Our money is no different then any other customer at Goodwill. We spend a lot of money at Goodwill and probably more then most. So our opinion matters. We work hard for the money we make and we make our customers happy. That is probably the biggest part of what we do. Making people happy. So just like Goodwill we help people get the things they want at bargain prices. A win, win, win for everyone. So join with me to make Goodwill get real on their prices. Holding their feet to the flame. 🔥 It’s a very big pie and everyone gets a small piece. 🥧
Love videos like this! In August I sold a bobblehead set from the show Psych. It was the 2 main characters of the show, new in box. Sold on best offer in 2 days for $100. I paid $2.
Thanks for the videos...I picked up a lot of 32 Armed Services Edition books from an estate sale and sold them for $204.50. I filled a box on the last day of an estate sale for $5. I've made well over $500 from that $5. These are items that were there for 3 days and people walked right past them. It also included 5 or 6 used pairs of vintage American Optical safety glasses in their original boxes which sell overnight at $50-60 a pair. Happy hunting...NJ
First off I appreciate you man for all these videos you put up as they are all super informative and have helped me get started w my first eBay sales 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Now I was wondering for items like these (Clothes/ Shoes) , do you use Auction or Buy it Now with a Minimum offer ? What do you prefer ?
Picked up CERVITAC neck brace at Goodwill for $5 NOB and sold comps NIB were around $325 so I listed it at $125 + ship or BO .. received offer for $75 bounced back at 97 plus ship.. sold for 123 with ship.. net profit $79..
Just sold a Sony CCD-TRV15 Handycam tonight for $105, paid $20. Sold a pair of men's Tecovas Cartwright cowboy boots for $145 earlier in the week, paid $30 for them!
Love y'all for the tips. I've learned so much in the last few weeks also love that y'all are not shy showing your big wins. I've found some Jems recently cause of a couple tips I would of usually pass over. Thanks again hope you guys become more successful and wish y'all the best!👍
Love vintage, I just don’t know much about it. I sold a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels for 105$ on Poshmark Just recently. That was exciting. I paid 5$ at a flea market for them;)
I’m with you Allie - no sports knowledge ⚽️🏀🏈⚾️ 😋 I use to work with a team of guys that would talk about sports everyday so I started making stuff up to be part of their conversation - just for fun -to see how long it would take them to figure out that I had not idea what I was talking about. I’d just interject stuff random comments and opinions or make up names - like “What’s up with Miller?!” 🤣 Or I’d say who I thought would win a game based on who had the better mascot, color scheme or cheerleader outfits 😂
Thanks for this video guys I love these tips. You did not mention where you found the ELO shirt. Was it a thrift store? Thanks! Love, your friend from Palmetto.
Alli, you crack me up wearing a sweatshirt. We live in Tally and it is toasty here so I know it's hotter than Bejesus where you live. I'm originally from the Midwest and wear shorts here all 365 days of the year even though the temps get quite chili during the winter months. To see you in a sweatshirt is just too funny!!
In my opinion these people are professionals so if you are new at re selling... RESEARCH EVERYTHING. Doesn’t matter if it’s a $5 purchase, or $15+. Learn your brands!
I know you keep mentioning this mentorship program and I would love nothing more than that but I'm sure it costs money! I was wondering, do you sell for an overseas market?
Do you guys keep a spread sheet or some sort of tracking to remind you what you paid for an item? Also what is the minimum your willing to make per item before you buy something after eBay, PayPal and shipping fees?
I found some great vintage t-shirts at GW for $1.99. The best, Van Halen, tie-dye, World Tour 1993. Comps average $95-$100 although one is listed currently on ebay for $250, WHAT!! So I listed for $95 and literally 20 seconds I received 3 offers, $15, $40, $50. Declined them but did counter offer $85, since I just listed. Have had several offers of $40 & $50 but no one accepts my counter offer. What time frame should I wait before dropping price?
Went to value village which is like goodwill, and found a pair of red Budweiser bluetooth headphones. Tested them out and worked great. Didnt have a price, so they put a 1.99 price tag on it. Thought that was a very good deal
I know a lot of you people resell electronics, but I assume you know where a plug is and are testing everything at your thrift store or wherever you're sourcing before even buying them? To me it just seems like a pain in the butt, and I assume that every electronic that's been dumped at the thrift store is broken!
Hey guys, I watched the video where you bought that Revitive. I just attended an auction last weekend and saw the same unit. I bid on it and won....$4! New open box. If I hadn’t watched that video I wouldn’t have thought to buy it. I’ll test and list this weekend. Your videos are really helpful!!
Awesome Video and Amazing Sales Congrats to both of you! You guys ROCK! So friendly genuine kind and humble. I’m trying to find sold listings for prices to price stuff on my cell phone through the filters and can’t find it anywhere -Do you know if-that’s one the Glitches. I really like this subject, hope you can do more videos on this. I have a small store so when I do sell items i like to sell $30 and up items. Thanks!! thumbs up
I really enjoy the help and information you put out. I would like to take your class. I am a reseller, unfortunately I am on a limited income. I can't afford to just give up 400 dollars at 1 time. Please let me know if you ever set up a monthly payment plan or something for people with disabilities. Gina
The reason the Men's boots sell higher is because Men are harder on footwear. Women tend to take better care of their footwear, plus they have more shoes & boots so they don't wear as often. So it's harder to fine used mens in top condition.
How did the meet up in AK go? That area was part of my route when I repaired medical equipment years ago. Did you get a chance to see the all glass chapel?
Bought a iphone 8plus red with a cracked screen for 60 paid 20 for a new screen and it still had the sim card of the original owner. Called them and asked them to remove the iCloud and then sold the phone for 330 plus shipping
Can you please explain your pricing? I've watched more than a few of your video's, but never heard why you price things at very off amounts, like $122.46. What's that all about?
I have a new idea for a video, how about a video of what didn't sell on Ebay. This would help us to lookout for things that really don't sell well.
Everything i ever put in classifieds sold eventually. And this is local classified 100s of times smaller than ebay. It is also true that i am not reseller i just sold my stuff that I didn’t need anymore, so maybe 30 items..
Great idea! I have a long list already
i think there's not things don't sell ?.. you can search for most weird items sold on ebay ; so it's only about time and work
I just bought a bunch of TI-84 CE calculators on clearance at Walmart for $33 and sold each one for $107. They literally didn't even last an hour.
Way to work it! That is how it's done! In today's current condition's it will be a fun selling season. Think out of the box for maximum success. Paypal's stock up, up, up. Could any of it be based on seller sentiment on MP? Hmmm, will be interesting.

I really enjoy the help and information you put out. I would like to take your class. I am a reseller, unfortunately I am on a limited income. I can't afford to just give up 400 dollars at 1 time. Please let me know if you ever set up a monthly payment plan or something for people with disabilities.

Hi, I really enjoy your videos. Do you have one on record keeping? Thanks, Tom
Thomas Benjamin thanks Tom! Not really, we try to leave that to CPAs
