i was surprised that it only takes 1.9ltr of oil. I was under the impression you just fill up the gearbox till it strats to flow out of the level plug and once not flowing out close it up and job done.

the amount if metal filings is ok? Seems for me the upper limit of wear ... What is your experienence?
Van is still on the road and gearbox work fine with 330k miles on.

Was van level or on front wheel ramps ?

It should be the same on a crafter i imagine? Same size hex bits

No washer lil bit of sealant.

@@magnusremovals3548 high temp and oil resistance sealant you will get it from any motors factory's shop.
