Spaz stick Ultimate mirror chrome Is absolutely the best paint for bumpers and anything you want chrome. Beautiful paint job but I say no on the aluminum tape.
I give the purple Z28 paint job a 90......Would have been perfect without the decals and a little more airbrushing..More authentic. Other wise a great job.Kudos.
Why wouldn't you have marked the body post holes and do all the cutting before paint which is much easier to do before you paint it's so much easier why would you make it harder on yourself and anyone else watching this video
DJSpannamanUK the plastic on the outside peels off the edges if you cut or drill first. Then you end up with overspray on the outside of you aren’t careful. I also find it much easier to mask it off if it isn’t cut 🤘

I was always taught to cut the body first then paint to avoid possibly flaking paint from excessive bending of the body.

What would you suggest for a backing color when using metallic purple?
When you remove the masking tape do you have to re wash it? Wouldn’t the tape leave a thin glue film?
As long as you are using high quality masking products you will not have an issue with it leaving any residue 👍
