The e5 I got is the coolest thing in the world, kinda wish they got to making a AA version with an upgraded internal battery, maybe another sst20 or switch them out for two sst40s. I would gladly pay over 70$ for this theoretical big brother angel eyes hybrid.

I measured an E8, max current 0.47A, and from light shutdown, takes in about ~290mAh, around 42minutes till full charge. So any 5w charger would suffice charging it.

I like the RovyVon a little better as a keychain option because it’s smaller, but the Boruit is such a great value.
rather than use AAA battery, what if you use 10440 - 3.7v li-ion battery, do output became the same with internal li-po battery?

Good question. Unfortunately the 10440 needs to be recharged with an external charger.
How do you keep it from coming on in while in your pocket?
Good question. Thankfully this flashlight has a lockout mode accessed by clicking the switch 7 times, if my memory serves me.

Does it take USB-PD?
