I own the Parfum only and it’s amazing. I like the EDP but this one stands out to me most after testing. I gotten lots of compliments and it last me about 8 hours or more. It is definitely worth the money! And you will love it too! Works nicely in the cold New England weather as well.

This may be my skin type but for the parfum it lasts 12 hours on my skin and smell is noticeable to others for 5 hours, it lasts longer on clothes and I’ve gotten compliments as late as 7 hours after

I'm 28 now and I must say, I still prefer the Parfum the most. I'm gravitating to more of a suit and tie style so the parfum really helps bringing out the maturity in the look. Great for dates and just hitting the town with a professional "swagger" if you will. The EDT is my 2nd for a less intense and chill fragrance.

I have a question... A week ago I bought the Parfum version, I guess being novice to fragrances, I assumed, the higher the price, the better the performance. However, as much as I loved the smell, the performance was quite underwhelming. I am considering going to the store next weekend to buy the either the EDP or the EDT version, but so many reviews and comments make it hard to choose. Wow man thank you! A friend got me a sample of the EDT a year or so ago and I loved it! I instantly thought I needed to buy the parfum because everything on google said, in general, with fragrances it’s the most potent, with highest scent content. Then when going to purchase online I noticed there was a difference in the notes/chords/etc. I’ve been researching for days now and this video really helped me a lot. On ulta I can get an EDT 6.8iz for 145 so that’s definitely the move for me! I love the scent and the cloud it projects. Thank you so much! 😁
Very cool spray is definitely my favorite as well. As you said, the opening is just gorgeous. It's pretty much like EDT but with better opening and even better longevity/projection.

I just got the very cool spray, and I gotta say, I completely agree with you. This stuff is amazing. The heavy metallic, Ambroxan notes are toned down to a perfect level, and the beautiful citrus opening of Sauvage Edt that vanishes pretty fast is present throughout the entire wearing.
I have all four and I love them. EDT: Anytime anywhere Cool spray: At the Gym EDP: Dates / Hangouts if i'm tired but mostly I wear Bleu de Chanel EDP Parfum: Sometimes for party's like game nights / Whisky and sigars IF i'm tired of Bleu de Chanel parfum.
The EDT IS NICE BUT I like how the Parfum just stays longer on you and it still maintains that strong sauvage smell even after I go to sleep with the shirt i sprayed on with and the next day when I wake up I can still smell the SCENT 😍

I had Luna Rossa too, but got bored with it after a few months price is good atm ,, Dior Sauvage EDT is metalic and harsh but great for meetings and silly compliments (ambroxine mess madness works), but not a good perfume imo, EDP/Perfume would be nice, a proper perfume, but too expensive.. Dior Homme Intense is a much better quality perfume (different). Do try Comme des Garçons Wonderwood, Tom Ford Noir Extreme, or Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Extrême if you like Luna Rossa Carbon ,, Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme also in that range, but different note configuration.. Wearing Bentley Pour Homme Intense (Leather, great great buy, enjoyable but not super long lasting up in the air)
I've noticed it really really depends on the person. The edt smells really sweet on me in a way that I love. It's not overpowering and everyone around me loves it. However, on a tester card or on my friend it smells a lot spicier. Anyways, body chemistry has a lot to do with the way it smells.

In my 80's always wore PS Paul Sébastien for years but can't find a replacement so I bought the new Dior Perfume, my wife loves the smell of this. I noticed that the smell doesn't last onl5 maybe 6 hours so l suppose I'll reapply if something is coming up later in the day. I like the smell also. Nice informative video thank you.

Edp performs insane.. I sprayed one spray on my hand like 20 minutes ago not that long, but I’m constantly getting wiffs I mean think about it I sprayed one spray on just my hand which is nowhere near my nose
I'm 35, but I'm still going for the EDT I like strong cologne, not to mention I'm not kicking out that much money for something that goes away in a couple hours.
@@DisI3oss honestly if you wanna save a few bucks just go with the EDP. They both have the same kind of vibe but the parfum has slightly better longevity and I find the EDP projects a bit better than the parfum. Hope that helps you finalize your decision. ✌️
@@DisI3oss the EDP and parfum are very similar to my nose as far as how they smell. I tend to wear the EDP more than the parfum. I only use the parfum for formal occasions so I would choose the EDP. Like I said they are almost the same but I find the EDP performs a little better projection wise.

Never had exposure to the other one, didnt even know there was 3 kinds initially. But if EDP is cheaper then I'll get that one. @@jiovangatyene9426 8-10 sprays is over spraying, 15-16 is the limit of over spraying...that being said...if you need more than 4-5 sprays of a perfume then it's not strong enough, what u can do is carry a small travel atomiser in ur bag or pocket, a 5ml one or something, and spray jst before u enter into an event/place...any perfume will perform well within the 1st hour compared to being sprayed from home and 1-2 hours in..u can use that to ur advantage...the atomisers r pretty cheap too...
Bro I don't wanna lie I used to spray 4 sprays of the tester at Dior on my wrists and my neck and people would be mad at me coz the smell is too potent and strong. I would have this sauvage bubble around me and it would easily project 2 meters from me and people would approach me and ask me what cologne I'm wearing. And it would easily last hours when it rubbed off on clothing or my bedsheets and the smell would stay for days. Now it's 2 hours max then it's gone. I thought I got used to the smell and it's normal. But after reading the reviews and people experiencing this as well so it makes sense.
I finish buying the EDT and received an extra bottle due to late delivery. I noticed this scent is not the one i fell in love with from a sauvage EDP sample. The EDT was too strong for me. I sold the extra bottle to my friend and saving that money to get EDP.
I bought elixir and came with edt / edp and parfum samplers. I will say parfum sprayed and left overnight approx 12 hours ended up smelling like really clean baby powder. EDP approx same amount of time is a tone down Parfum with a cleaner and subtle scent. Elixir is quite powerful
I’d repeatedly tested and the very cool spray projected&lasted better than d edt & surprisingly much better than parfum both on skin and blotter. This is what i noticed in d tropics of india

Ive noticed most reviewers hate on the Parfum. It has the og dna but its toned down and its more for the mature crowd or to wear it to the office or to gatherings
i have the dior sauvage aftershave, love the fragrance, i believe its the smell of the EDT? i like it and having it a bit sweeter seems also nice. so i decided to buy the Dior Sauvage EDP can't wait to try it.
edp > parfum > edt in my opinion. not going to put very cool spray in the ranking because i dont think it belongs there. the edt is too harsh and peppery. parfum isnt strong enough. edp is the perfect balance :)
in my subjective experience, the EDP solves all the "complaints" that the og had. -less metallic -less peppery -less aggressive -more complex personally i really love the EDT because I love that pepper in the opening, but the EDP seems to be a bit more tame and crowd pleasing
I didn’t like the parfum when I first sprayed it on, but then after it dried down I fell in love with it. Haven’t bought a bottle yet but I sent a hint to my fiancé. 😀

How is the EDT the best performer and last the longest when it's an EDT? Shouldn't it last the least since it has less concentration than the EDP & Parfum?
The EDP is a different scent all together. The Parfum does last longer. Generally, just because a scent is higher concentration doesn't mean it will always perform better.
The EDT smells a bit fresher and softer to me, (which is kinda logic lol) but with the EDP or Parfum its to much for me, its even like the smell changes to a other fragnance lol, i love the EDT it stays long, smells very nice, not to overtaking, a bit fresh, and its the most cheapest asswell. But im not like everyone else so i would recommend try some testers in store and try all 3 (not at one day, just take your time to figure out whats good for u. than make your purchase)
It rough because I like mature smells more than younger smells. The parfum is nice with a powderness to it. I want a fusion of Dior Homme and Dior Sauvage parfum fusion. At that point, that's Prada lol

EDP performance is insanely good. Lasts 12 hours on my husband. Cool Spray also lasts about as long.
Mature is a subjective concept and age has no overall bearing on what smells you like. Great review but age shouldn’t t be a factor.

I owned the EDT and sold it - it was way too loud for me. I should try the EDP (I got Luna Rossa Carbon instead and really happy with it)

Never had exposure to the other one, didnt even know there was 3 kinds initially. But if EDP is cheaper then I'll get that one. If you have the money would you rather buy the 200ml EDT or the parfum as a young 24year old.
200ml EDT and overspray incase the performance falls short, because thats your best shot at projection and its also youthful smelling

@@jiovangatyene9426 8-10 sprays is over spraying, 15-16 is the limit of over spraying...that being said...if you need more than 4-5 sprays of a perfume then it's not strong enough, what u can do is carry a small travel atomiser in ur bag or pocket, a 5ml one or something, and spray jst before u enter into an event/place...any perfume will perform well within the 1st hour compared to being sprayed from home and 1-2 hours in..u can use that to ur advantage...the atomisers r pretty cheap too...
Bro I don't wanna lie I used to spray 4 sprays of the tester at Dior on my wrists and my neck and people would be mad at me coz the smell is too potent and strong. I would have this sauvage bubble around me and it would easily project 2 meters from me and people would approach me and ask me what cologne I'm wearing. And it would easily last hours when it rubbed off on clothing or my bedsheets and the smell would stay for days. Now it's 2 hours max then it's gone. I thought I got used to the smell and it's normal. But after reading the reviews and people experiencing this as well so it makes sense.

Is dior sauvage edp reformulated?
I finish buying the EDT and received an extra bottle due to late delivery. I noticed this scent is not the one i fell in love with from a sauvage EDP sample. The EDT was too strong for me. I sold the extra bottle to my friend and saving that money to get EDP.
I just ordered the 3.4oz edp for $135 excited to try it i loved it in store.
EDT for a light smell
EDP for a stronger smell
I bought elixir and came with edt / edp and parfum samplers. I will say parfum sprayed and left overnight approx 12 hours ended up smelling like really clean baby powder. EDP approx same amount of time is a tone down Parfum with a cleaner and subtle scent. Elixir is quite powerful

I’d repeatedly tested and the very cool spray projected&lasted better than d edt & surprisingly much better than parfum both on skin and blotter. This is what i noticed in d tropics of india

Ive noticed most reviewers hate on the Parfum. It has the og dna but its toned down and its more for the mature crowd or to wear it to the office or to gatherings

I'm new to this hobby but I can say the sauvage parfum smells amazing.
Started off with the spray and got lots of compliments. Don’t know which to get (Parfum seems a bit high priced)

i like it and having it a bit sweeter seems also nice. so i decided to buy the Dior Sauvage EDP
can't wait to try it.
I own the EdT and EDP myself and I love them both, the EDP is a bit less sharp as the EdT a little less edgy.

Edp lasts much longer edt is like water now
edp > parfum > edt in my opinion. not going to put very cool spray in the ranking because i dont think it belongs there. the edt is too harsh and peppery. parfum isnt strong enough. edp is the perfect balance :)
What's the SPL that edp has?
in my subjective experience, the EDP solves all the "complaints" that the og had.

personally i really love the EDT because I love that pepper in the opening, but the EDP seems to be a bit more tame and crowd pleasing
I didn’t like the parfum when I first sprayed it on, but then after it dried down I fell in love with it. Haven’t bought a bottle yet but I sent a hint to my fiancé. 😀

Sauvage Parfum does the job for me...doesn’t project like the EDT but you will get compliments on it and it lasts forever on my skin
when i first sprayed on the edt i didn’t really like it but when i let it dry down more i think it’s way better

How is the EDT the best performer and last the longest when it's an EDT? Shouldn't it last the least since it has less concentration than the EDP & Parfum?
The EDP is a different scent all together. The Parfum does last longer. Generally, just because a scent is higher concentration doesn't mean it will always perform better.

there's elixir now too, most probably for older men in their 40s tho from what i've heard it's more of a mature scent

The EDT smells a bit fresher and softer to me, (which is kinda logic lol) but with the EDP or Parfum its to much for me, its even like the smell changes to a other fragnance lol, i love the EDT it stays long, smells very nice, not to overtaking, a bit fresh, and its the most cheapest asswell. But im not like everyone else so i would recommend try some testers in store and try all 3 (not at one day, just take your time to figure out whats good for u. than make your purchase)
Is synthetic sauvage dangerous?
It rough because I like mature smells more than younger smells. The parfum is nice with a powderness to it. I want a fusion of Dior Homme and Dior Sauvage parfum fusion. At that point, that's Prada lol
