While I don't know for sure if this is the case, in season 2 episode 6 Redux, there was a principal Reynolds who worked at the Excelsior school and had a grudge against Lex because he was fired apparently due to Lionel making a donation, after Lex was set to be expelled after an incident. While not confirmed here, I think this may be the incident, potentially in idea, that was spoken about in that episode.
Lana seems to get hurt when with clark? sure, but she would also be dead if it wasn't for him .. and so would lex, and so would chloe .. need I go on? why does everyone prioritize everything else above someone saving your life - even in this episode lex is still alive because of oliver and he still prioritizes dissing him .. and btw, clark told lana the truth .. she died because of it, and then his dad died because he saved her .. apparently everyone forgets this.

Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and while the first two seasons aren't connected to the Arrowverse, Black Lightning was just included in the most recent crossover.
i never realized they introduced oliver in a season when clark needed a friend that understands the hero life the most. love the writing on this show

Exactly and its frustrating. I wouldn't be saving any of them ever again.
Her biggest injury was when she had to learn to walk again when lex threw her to the horse but even then she blamed Clark.
