  • Caramelised almonds
    Subscribe to not miss the next recipe
    Ingredient:
    * 200 gr of sugar
    * 250 gr of almonds.
    * 1 tsp vanilla essence
    * 50 ml of water
    preparation:
    1. Place a pan on the fire and add the sugar, water, vanilla essence and almonds.
    2. When it boils, leave for 5 or 7 minutes until the water reduces, stirring occasionally
    3. When the water has evaporated almost completely, mix non-stop until the sugar crystallizes and the almonds are frosted.
    4. Lower the heat to a minimum and continue stirring until the sugar at the bottom turns into caramel and bathes the caramels giving them that characteristic shine.
    5. Place the almonds on parchment paper until cool.
    6. To keep the almonds crisp, store them in a jar.
