I always have people ask me about the easiest ways to make gold in WoW and it's something I've always been interested in. I prefer to farm gold in WOTLK rather than take part in raids. That's just me!

@@jgmgaming I recently had a crave to return to wow and saw your video. I did it many many years ago. Character I used was a ret pally with meh gear like 4k gearscore. Lots of arctic furs. You can also exchange every 5 borean leather to arctic fur in dalaran. Good gold.

Actual Sell value of the meat will be far lower than you are estimating on most servers. On the NA server I am on, on the dominant faction, it sells between 1 an 2 GP each. The Respawn rate is not fast enough for that to be producing. Leather also generally is a flooded market, thanks to bots... Cooking daily only makes 1-5 Northern Spices per character so you would need a huge army of characters to produce enough spices to cook them as you are stating. The Artic fur drop is only about 1 out of 50 kills.
Hi there, thanks for your comment. I just wanted to dispel a few of your concerns here:
The average price of the cooked meat for EU is 6g 54s 48c (so actually higher than in my video). The average price of the cooked meat for NA is 5g 57s 33c (again, higher than in my video).
The average price of Borean Leather for EU is 12g 20s per stack (higher than in my video). The average price of Borean Leather for NA is 16g 32s per stack (higher than in my video).
From the Dalaran cooking daily you can easily get 20-30+ Northern Spices per daily per character, or you can simply buy them cheaply from the Auction House and make slightly less profit.

@@jgmgaming How do you get more than 20-30 Northern Spice per character? I do them Daily and the most I see is 5 spices on a character.
Uncooked the meat is 1-2 GP on the sever I am on. I physically checked the AH for this when I posted,
@@jgmgaming Borean Leather is between 40S99C and 1 GP each on the server I am on right now (4/8). This is on a Saturday (which is one of the busiest days for the server). Server is NA Old Blanchy.

you're saying easily able to get via cooking daily ?? lol. Yes that is true. However, to get as many as you did, is many many days of dailys.. so it is not 1300g an hour.

I mean, it wasn't quite the gold farm I was expecting it to be by the title of the video but 2g 89s a pop isn't bad when you get them really fast.
Cook the meat, don't sell it "raw". The cooked meat is averaging 6g 40s each on EU realms right now.
@@jgmgaming I was selling the meat, it was 2g 89 silver for the cooked pet treats on Atiesh.
Maybe the American currency goes for more because this was not even close.
Wow, that's some bullshit... you're not subtracting the AH value of the northern spices from your gph.
They're so easy to get, you can get at least 30 per day per char. But like I said in the video, it will eat into your profits if you do decide to buy them. Currently about 1g 80s each.
Yeah. So your 1300g profit was really 900g profit because you used up 200g worth of northern spices instead of selling them (in 30 mins). That's why it's bullshit.

@@neal7805 It's mentioned in the video that IF you decide to do that then it'll eat into your profits, however you don't NEED to do that. Not really dishonest 👍
@@jgmgaming no, if you're using the value of the spiced mammoth meat without subtracting the value of northern spices you are creating a false narrative here 100% you're implying you farmed 650g worth of stuff in 30 mins x2 to get your 1300g p/h BUT a huge portion of that 650g came from the 103 northern spices that you used this is a limited resource that you have to either spend time doing dailies for them or buy them in the AH. you couldn't have done this farm for 5 more hours for example you wouldn't have had the spices to continue.
