when i first saw the bombs dropping intro scene, i was legitimately sucked into that moment. When janey asks, "is it your thumb.. or mine..." pulls at my heart, cooper either trying to reassure and comfort his daughter, to convince himself it's not actually going down, or both, when those strings come in subtly, then they get more dissonant and eerie as the nuke cloud gets bigger. something about that sent chills down my spine, and made me legit short of breath, anxious, and teary eyed.. like some kind of primal fear had been activated in me, all of it was captured so masterfully. another thing i wanted to note is how much i thought i woulf hate norm at the beginning, but grew to love him by the end, the character development in the show is great too, this show was incredible, and i cannot wait for season two!
Loved this first episode! I wasn't sure about the actress for lucy when I saw the trailers but her in this episode was amazing and I'm sold. I was curious to see how Amazon would deal with china being the ones we traded Nukes with in the games, seems they're just going to ignore it which I think is fine. Loving the show so far but I'm still wait for the war never changes speech lol
You mentioned the little details, such as the lantern design. Fun fact, Bethesda sent game files to the set designers and they 3D printed props directly from the game to decorate the world
Have just binged entire series... You will not be disappointed i have played Fallout since it's roots as a turned based isometric rpg.. ( yes that old ). This felt familiar and lots of great easter eggs throughout , actors did a great job and humour was just right without ruining it. Highly recommend watching.

I'm very very positively impressed, and to use the words of our Lord and Saviour Todd Howard: "It just works".
Vault 34 is not connected to 31 32 and 33, Vault 34 is just outside of Vegas and can be visited in Fallout New Vegas. Which takes place before the show.
Vault 34 is the one that had a ton of guns btw, its where the Boomers from FNV came from.
Dude, the TV show is so accurate to the games, its such a good show❤❤❤
Long live fallout😀
As soon as I heard that intro song in the pre war scene, I knew this series would be a faithful adaption.
I wanna binge the whole thing tonight so bad, but I’m tired lol 4 more to go. AMAZING so far.
@@flerbus nice try
I’ve never played the games and I love it. The ghoul guy is awesome. They’re all great characters but you can see he is easily having the most fun
Anyone else notice that Betty is Blind AL from deadpool?
Sure did. 😊
Yup!
Reminds me of the movie called "go" where they show each characters story then they put it all together fillin some of the blanks that where left
Cracks me up how Gregg is advertising "Harry's razors" saying how good it is, while having a beard. 😂😂😂
I legit clean up my cheeks and neck with it haha. LINE UP that beard line lol
I mean anyone with a weird will tell you that they shave haha. Even long beards needs clean up, unless you get blessed with perfect genetics where your beard looks amazing
I have a big beard and I use them to trim up.
What are they like for a full shave. Still do a great job?
5:49 just gives me so many chills, especially because were on the edge of this potentially happening in our world.
They have done outstanding on this so far
it sucks

@@flerbus cry more? You're the one that's replying to everyone praising the show and acting like a cry baby because they like something you don't
@@ryanswift5724 wah wah...show sucks
when i first saw the bombs dropping intro scene, i was legitimately sucked into that moment.
The best video game show there ever was i hope this gets over 8 seasons
You mentioned the little details, such as the lantern design. Fun fact, Bethesda sent game files to the set designers and they 3D printed props directly from the game to decorate the world
They mentioned the Commonwealth. It sounds like the Brotherhood was the winning faction in Fallout 4.
There is a neutral ending where the Brotherhood and Minutemen co-exist. This could be it.
Not necessarily. Maybe they sent this mensage because they themselves couldn't do it.
So much for no canon endings
@@sierra1513 Fallout 3 has one. So do 1 & 2.
I'm referring to the fact that Bethesda reportedly told Nolan not to establish any of the multiple endings in fallout 4 and New Vegas as canon
Honestly, nothing prepared me for the shock of learning Lucy’s brother was a Hannah Montana cast.
17:19 my mans said 'archaic'! prolly cuz phonetically it sounds analogous to 'chaotic' tbf
22:18 This is the first person I've seen in reactions recognize the Prydwen! Love the reaction, guys
Maximus ain't Preston, so he's an instant fav in my book 😁
You know what your book needs? A reminder that a settlement nearby needs your help. I’ll mark it on your map.
He is younger, more naive.
He's so autistic
The actress that plays Lucy is the voice actress for Jinx from Arcane. She can do it all gang!
Not valut 34. Just 31 32 and 33. 34 is actually in New Vegas game so no where near them in California.
Have just binged entire series... You will not be disappointed i have played Fallout since it's roots as a turned based isometric rpg.. ( yes that old ).
This felt familiar and lots of great easter eggs throughout , actors did a great job and humour was just right without ruining it.
Highly recommend watching.
Definitely a great show so far just blown away
FANTASTIC I could not be Happier with this show so far
Fear of nuclear war defined my childhood.
That opening was PHENOMENAL!!!😭😭 I played the games not fully to the extent but just seeing what I know made me so happy🔥🔥
