Not gonna lie that was the most insane kick ever wow don’t sleep on the Huskies
drew hunter?
woof
Watch the last lap of the 2011 10000m World Championships :)
@waterproof4403 Mediocre compared to the best kickers
It would be great if they didn't just have the camera zoomed in on whoever is in first and would show the field from time to time
Flotrack is better than most who cover Track and Field, but even they get fixated on the lead guy when a lot is going on often in the main chase groups, there are always races within races. But that was a pretty awesome race, watched it live myself. Bryan Clay invite was awesome this year.
@@karlchristen my friend don’t ever say flo track is half decent 😂
Had morgan about 60.9 last lap, Fay about 56
That's my big brother, love you bro
What you guys feed him for breakfast? Wheaties. That's an insane last 200. Congratulations to your brother. See him in the next Olympics for sure.
I hope you run too and have your brother’s work ethic. That’s some fine tuned genes there!
These commentators are awesome they’re so enthusiastic
Watch the last lap of the 2011 men's 10000m final :)
That was insane.. he came from nowhere.. i felt bad for the one who was on the lead till almost the end
A pleasure to witness excellence.
You’re not supposed to be able to run 56 for the last 400 of a 5k holy crap
Uh that's is fast..
There have been athletes running a last lap of 53 or quicker in a 10k lol. This is actually common
Although it does beg the question: What was he doing the first 11.5 laps?
Wow! Great run. I can still feel the pain of sharps spikes in my feet catching guys off the finish to keep them from falling.
hey! that's my brother!
think he ran abt a 26 sec last 200
Yeah 26-27 range
@@Matquez
Yes!
The Race is not over, until you cross the finish line!
The Winning Runner understood That, while closing in on the last lap!
THAT WAS INSANE
Are they saying, Beetlescum? Ha!!
Carried the Huskies to a 3rd fastest DMR in NCAA history andthe announcers have him mixed up all race 😑
Out of this world 🤯🤯🤯
What was Fay's final lap? 53? Wow!!!!
Wow those are some serious wheels on Fay!
Amazing
It’s in a heat! 😂😂😂😂 good win though.
Legend has it, no kick has ever made.
I’m proud to attend UW
Go Dawgs !!!
Sick
That's how you win great training
Chicks dig a guy with stamina that knows how to finish.
Uh huh.
Good God. I cannot run a single lap under 65 seconds, how on Earth do they do this 12.5 times in a row??!!!
Fayzer, my goat.
Illinois State Championships *Aden Bandukwala* 54sec Last Lap 0_0
SCHWEEEET ‼️👽😱
Kind of a Yifter the Shifter move.
Daaaaaaang
That's a kick Bruce Lee would be proud of
Wow
I had to watch this twice to believe it. I thought for sure no one was going to catch MB.
Dang! Whereas his last 400 split???
Results?
so much time spent filming the one guy alone in the front while all the action was far back.... its a bit dissapointing, i would have loved to see how far back Fay was and how he got to the front
Split?
replying to this so when someone answers ill know
I think he was 12:20 - 12:21 at the bell, so he closed in like a 55-56
He ran 55
@@williamolsen1089 I think is penultimate 200 was 25.x
What was his last lap!?!
Had to be a 53
@@flash1506 it was like a 56 or 55 high
@@flash1506 watch the 2011 world championships men's 10000m last lap :)
@@waterproof4403 how is that going to tell us what Fay's split was
@@brendanfay5140 if you want a thrilling finish watch it.
That's me in the Blue!
Ever want to take back what you said commentators?
about 54 seconds?
And this kids is why you run intervals until you vomit.
Great job, and an awesome final kick, yet an even worse job of editing re: the final minutes of the video that left us hanging.

👀
21 sec 200m?
Flotrack are not great at this running thing. I see them get things wrong regularly. SoundRunning, Runnerspace, etc all better. They didn’t even know which guy Brian Fay was even though he has a top 10 in Euro XC and one of the best 5k times this year before this race
Also was confused when he call Morgan Beadlescomb not a 5k guy.
Matthew Boling. 9.98 with a 1.6 wind. It's legal. He joins the sub 10 club. Bingtian Su running 9.83 at the Olympics tore down the barriers. The sky is the limit now
Relevance?
@@christopherhamill525 I know right? It's really weird when they act like there hasn't been good white sprinters before - 23yr old Filippo Tortu (9.99/20.11) & Christophe Lemaitre (9.92/19.80) was a very good sprinter (still only 31 so has been around the last decade and IMO will end up a better/more successful 100/200m guy than Boling); so was Irina Privalova, Dafne Schippers, Ivet Lalova, Jenna Prandini & Abby Steiner will soon join that elite list! There does seem to be a common insecure thread among his stans!
Filipo Tortu from Italy who is also white has run a legal sub 10 in the 100m
@@tkk3852 Exactly! Has run 9.99/20.11s and is still only 23yrs old!
@@AllInTheGame01 he's the first US man. He's now broken 10 and 20 seconds. It's history.
Fall more, go faster
That's just wrong. He's a THIEF!
Lol
Hahaha
CU's kit is so bad

Has anyone calculated how many years competitive running takes off your lifespan? All the guys I've known died fairly young.
