I actually just tried Gaynor's a few weeks ago and wasn't able to dance in them at all, 2 very painful barres, didn't make it all the way over reliably. Multiple padding experiments and I just had to admit they don't fit my foot. Thankful I finally found my DreamPointes back in stock.
I use 4 strands of threat and knot twice. Some people use dental floss, which is also very strong, but make sure to secure the knots with a tiny bit of nail polish if you use floss as it's more likely to untie than thread.
I think it's a Mariia, but I can't pause and zoom well enough on the side tag when it's visible. Take a look at the Mariia leos on discount dance and you might find it, they typically have a large selection.
