I have a 21 KX 250 too. There's something nostalgic about the 2T regardless of how dated they are.

Can you guys produce some new riding footage of this bike? Maybe compare it with a YZ250.
I have this bike and absolutely love riding it. After I did the suspension, it completely changed the characteristic of the bike. I redid most of the external bearings like swingarm and linkage too. Put a new top end, but have not opened the cases yet. Runs great! I love the bottom end.
I run some bar risers that shift the bars forward and up, I swear it has helped with the balance and handling of the bike.
Mine was ridden lightly on private property then sat in a shed for over 15years
