I always add slices of tomatoes, white onions and garlic to the mix and it’s gives it a boost of flavor! (The ingredients will resolve, then I add bake it for an additional 30 min and it will blow your mind.
I tried Jackfruit last week, and it was amazing, so I went back to the Asian Market yesterday and bought different cans of Jackfruit to see which brand was the best,...well NONE of them have the SEEDS in it. So instead of having something like a pulled pork bbq sandwich, it was more like a super sweet pineapple pizza 😢 ~ Just because a jar of apple sauce has picture of an apple on the label, but we Know that there's not a whole apple inside...but not so with Jackfruit, so be carefully when you go to buy to just get the seeds that look identical to pulled more and not so darn sweet.
@@vintagemothI saw Tabitha Brown make herself a vegan Philly cheese “chicken”. She used the jackfruit as the chicken, used vegan cheese of her choosing, and dressed it up with whatever sauce and topping she liked.

Omg jackfruit looks great, I'll try it! Mayonnaise cabbage don't make a coleslaw though.

What does jackfruit taste like and how is the texture of it? Im curious before i try it.
It’s a rubbery texture. It has a nice sweet taste to it
@@siyyonjudah thanks for letting me know. What meals do you personally make with Jack fruit
@@vintagemoth I eat the fruit raw or my wife would sauté it in the skillet and use it as a chicken substitute. For like pasta, quesadillas, tacos etc

Chill out Donna it's only a fun little video. It's not like I'm trying to sell you some green sludge from an MLM company. 🤷♂
@@Al.Brady. ouch! lol
How did you get passed all the “latex” that comes in green ones?
I don't know what you mean?
He probably got the canned ones

Thanks!
This entire episode had me peeing my pants 🤣🤣🤣.
Why the jackfruit look brown
It’s unripe jackfruit. It it were the ripe yellow kind it would be way too sweet to be used for cooking savory dishes
@@ianhuangncubed I think it’s canned because the canned kind is in brine and loses a lot of color
yay jackfruit
There's no way that isn't meat! It looks so much like meat..
Also tastes like meat
@@BMW0510 no it doesn't at all lmao
@@BeanerMoney I don't think you had Jackfruit before it does taste like meat when you cook it
