I suffer from depression and Bipolar disorder, and as a kid this song always made me feel calm. Recently had some troubles, and this cover/remix/adaptation brought back all the calm it used to back in the day.

If you live in the USA, you probably remember Snowmagheddon in 2010. The WHOLE CONTINENT of North America saw more snow they they had seen in a long loooong time. At the time, they were calling for some snow showers, no big deal. A friend of mine and I agreed to play the Song of Storms on our Ocarinas the night before it was supposed to start snowing, in the hope that we could help it cancel school, y'know. I forgot. The next day, I played it in front of my window. Not an entire minute passes before flakes start to lightly fall. Fast forward two weeks; we've BARELY got our driveway unburied enough to leave our home. We were stuck in our homes for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. The snow was piled so high you couldn't walk in it never mind drive. Roads were closed, roofs collapsed, panic prevailed for two weeks... I guess I should say I'm sorry. But I'm kinda not. ;3

This is outstanding. It has perfect build, like it is in itself a storm- each section of the song. The lyrics, though I can't think of a specific voice to sing them, are actually great without an accompanying voice, as if you're simply interpreting the language in the music into that of English. Listening to this thing makes me feel as if I'm hearing from the very Thundergod himself. I hope you continue to do this to other pieces of work. Fantastic!

So one day, I was outside and I had my recorder. So I started playing the song perfectly. The next hour it rained. Truly a classic.
A good and very fitting song with an environmentalist tone. The planet causing constant storms and threatening death to it's children that take with no regard and pollute without guilt. As children of the planet we need to respect the planet.
If only earth could really think that way and threaten our existence for the treatment we give it. It would whip us into shape fast. Sadly people will continue to irresponsibly act as mindless destroyers and consumers never giving one whit in return.

The way you bring the main thing is genius, storms appearing step by step from the moment the song is played on the ocarina, and really starts with a fuckin' lightning; I felt like I was really making thunder singing that song !
