Actually we have several in NY as well as CA you just need to run it compliant, the 1 ton is a 11,000 GVWR vehicle and therefor in the Duramax group, the 1500's however would not pass No CP3 on this but we did it to our shop 1500 SCSB, stay tuned for that monster
Considering a new Sue is 80k loaded out and a Denali is even more I think 135 is pretty reasonable. The duramax/tranny combo is an expensive option on the trucks already So roll that option into a new Sue the pricing seems pretty much in line. I own a 2002 Sue so it’s def outs my range. Awesome freaking build
You guys should of put the new Escalade mirrors on instead of the previous gen mirrors, larger than the regular Tahoe/Suburban and the Yukon, and you wouldn't of lost blind spot monitoring, and powerfolding mirrors.
That is the stock mirror, and it has blind spot monitoring (which I love) as well as power fold Its funny everyone thinks they are the old style because of the design but they aren't
Yes thats because of the GCWR being 12700 and the "potential" GVWR being 11000 so your left with 3000, you will notice they dont come with trailer brakes either, the actual vehicle weight is 7300 leaving you with 5400 technically but each state looks at it differently The frame under the 2017 is the same all the way back to 2001 and with a 8.1 was rated for a GCWR of 19750 leaving a Duramax version a sum of 12500 roughly
Nice rig... not legal here in NY though ,it fails emissions testing, both visual and particulate testing, hope you did a cp3 conversion while the engine was out....that truck has a lot of torque ,was that the traction control kicking in when it defueled on the 1/2 shift when you got on It? Either way nice sleeper, looks like a regular suburban but can tow like a champ and win stoplight drag races lol...
Actually we have several in NY as well as CA, but 16's the 17/18 would require the L5P Yes TC was on, if off it just blows the rear wheels off through 3rd gear and Mitch was filming from the back seat, he would have ended up in rear compartment upside down LOL. And yes on that 64 Stealth it is a monster :-)

The SUV is 85K and the build with all new parts is 48K so just shy of 135K You can cut the cost by going with a 2016 used SUV and we can source the LML donor for you
Yes but only as a 2016 For CA our agreement with B.A.R. is the drive train year must be equal or newer to the SUV and we dont have tuning for the L5P yet, Buttttt its coming, stay tuned
It depends on your county requirements and each sate is different, If your state requires compliant technology then you are fine as the LML and the L5P share similar catalyst and meet the same current standards but if your required to have equal or newer drive train to the body wellllll the 16's can be built CA compliant but for 17 and 18 you will need to wait until the tuning is available, sorry
why GM doesn't offer this is beyond me
Damn I need this in my life, you guys do amazing work.
Duraburd does amazing work.
Pretty cool, maybe GM should make a production version
well its a niche' market

Yea out of My arena too, but I get to live vicariously through others LOL
Absolutely freaking amazing

My fav so far
Nice, but the price has gotta be scary.
Its a mortgage in my opinion but there are a lot of people that drive 100K + vehicles
OMG!!! 🙁 I want one, my new favorite vehicle. For real. Lol.

I've heard the previous generation DURABURBs are rated at 17K tow capacity. Since this is a 1 ton, is the tow capacity increased, or just payload?
Yes thats because of the GCWR being 12700 and the "potential" GVWR being 11000 so your left with 3000, you will notice they dont come with trailer brakes either, the actual vehicle weight is 7300 leaving you with 5400 technically but each state looks at it differently

I didn't think you could still get 2500/3500 suburbans. I thought they were for fleet and federal contracts only now.
Yes you are right
they are a bit of a Co Po SUV if you will but we have 3 2018's here just pick your color :-)
Nice rig... not legal here in NY though ,it fails emissions testing, both visual and particulate testing, hope you did a cp3 conversion while the engine was out....that truck has a lot of torque ,was that the traction control kicking in when it defueled on the 1/2 shift when you got on It? So what's the tow rating on this thing? Do you guys put on a different hitch/receiver? The factory rating on the Suburban HD is a measly 3000 lbs.
Thats because of the GCWR being 12700 and the "potential" GVWR being 11000 so your left with 3000, you will notice they dont come with trailer brakes either, the actual vehicle weight is 7300 leaving you with 5400 technically but each state looks at it differently

Good job guys wish I had the money for one lol
Awesome work.
Super awesome suburban. Sorry if I missed you saying something but why the older style mirrors?
That is the stock mirror, and it has blind spot monitoring (which I love) as well as power fold
Its funny everyone thinks they are the old style because of the design but they aren't
What does something like that cost, on top of the base price?
The SUV is 85K and the build with all new parts is 48K so just shy of 135K
You can cut the cost by going with a 2016 used SUV and we can source the LML donor for you
What does this specific vehicle run as far as price wise
100 MPH in that street? Geez, I wonder how much the ticket would be.Nice truck btw.
LOL SHHHHHHHHH its like 35 LOL
do they still make factory 3/4 ton suburbans..i have a 2002 Yukon xl 2500 with the 8.1
No only the 1500 & 3500
Is this available as a California compliant like many of your other products? How much did this unit cost?
Yes but only as a 2016
For CA our agreement with B.A.R. is the drive train year must be equal or newer to the SUV and we dont have tuning for the L5P yet, Buttttt its coming, stay tuned
Awesome;)
Neat vid. But put you seatbelt on.
