Jay, pace it buddy. As yer finding out, Munich is not Axpona. You can burn yerself out very quickly if yer not careful. Then you ll get sick. Use your show exhibitor guide! And pencil in some time to enjoy Germany! We all very much appreciate your work buddy, but we don't wanna see you crash and burn. Get some fun in. Doctor's order. Dr. Jay.
Jay, remember to have fun out there while you are working to provide good RUclips content. I remember I used to love going to the annual auto shows and I would get so consumed with taking pictures that I didn’t realize how I never really enjoyed the show after I got home because I was too busy with taking pictures. Lol…. I decided I wanted to sit in the cars and just take it all in instead of being consumed with trying to get the perfect picture. Be safe, chill and take it all in!
Kharma has not only some of the best looking speakers, their room is always one of the best sounding each year. Phenomenal speakers and electronics from the Netherlands.
Like the way you just walk past the Vivid Audio stand. They make some awesome speakers👍Love my Oval B1’s👍 Hopefully they have a pair of the Giya G1 there for you to look at and listen to.
Wow Jay. That is super impressive with just this teaser so far. You need to get some sleep, however, so you will be really good and fresh for the many videos we all look forward to. Thanks for what you do and hope I can make it there sometime soon. Cheers, Prof. Jim
Many thanks for your work, very much appreciated ! What a *NOISY AUDIENCE, everywhere ! - why couldn't all those people go outside in order to SPEAK, instead of listening?! I wish I had a teleporter, instantly came in Munich, and shouted to all those noisy people SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!* These are great products, whose setup required huge efforts made by passionate people; they do not deserve such a messy and irrespectful environment. This pisses me off so badly that I managed to make the Brussels hifi show nearly silent in comparison (by ranting² to the organizer, who, finally, listened to me...). Luckily I didn't bother to come to Munich.
Awesome I plan on going next year. Jay is it possible you could give some tips on hotels and restaurants to help newbies who have never been to Munich?
But, on the other hand; You get top marks for being a down-to-earth lover of Extreme Audiophile/Cost No Object examples of what is available in the Audio World today.
Content so good, it's worth watching twice! AXPONA is a rathole compared to Munich! Make sure you meet a nice German lady, usually named Giselle or Freda, to keep you warm during those cold German nights if you catch my drift son! FIRE: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Interesting. A fair amount of the gear in there is basically all way too expensive for me, and a fair portion of it I consider to be bullshit to boot (I'm one of those annoying audio skeptics) but these behind the scenes things are fun. I might suggest, perhaps, a three-axis gimbal for walk arounds, to keep the image smooth (DJI makes phone gimbals that are not that pricey, Osmo Mobile). Really makes it more enjoyable to "ride along" when the image isn't shaking or moving too fast in any direction, your sweeps left-right in this were just too fast, got almost disorienting. Just a suggestion for future walking-and-talking videos; I realize this was a rough-and-ready walkthrough only, just a few constructive (I hope) suggestions to ponder.
Dude, I don't know wtf you're talking about. The Tannoy sound awful. All the unnatural energy coming from the stubby horn is super fatiguing, and the low freq have a weird colored resonance from the wood cabinet. Look at the FyneAudio instead.
MY APOLOGIES - I REPEATED A CLIP TWICE - I HAVE NOT SLEPT ENOUGH - SORRY GUYS 🙄
Go have a Lowenbrau, a pretzel and schnitzel and enjoy that fantastic city!
No worries big man, appreciate the content, look behind the scenes
Lol just breezed past that. Go and have some breakfast!

That Nagra turntable is at the top of my list. More so than the Air Force Zero, the new SME, the SAT, the Basis, or any other high end table.
What a shame the well tempered royale beats them at a fraction of the price!!
