You failed to address the following issues, and I wonder why:
1. Was an invoice provided to biryani man, or was it just a payment receipt?
2. You missed elaborating on the most important part: trust. Why do people conduct business in the name of trust? Is it for tax evasion or tax avoidance? If a person does their entire business in the name of the trust and donates about 85%, then it’s not a business at all.
3. The TN government provides sewing machines and conducts tailoring classes. A basic understanding of SHG training schemes will give you an idea.
4. Whether a price is fair or not is subjective, but you took a stand that it is not too pricey. Most families in TN earn less than 15k a month. Many women who want to learn tailoring earn a meager income or depend on their husband’s money.
To me, it seems like a manipulative, one-sided narrative where you pre-planned certain points to gaslight the issue.
I'll try to answer some of your points,
1) It was biriyani man who put a payment receipt comparing it to an invoice he got from Amazon. If only he had said that he asked for an invoice but he was only provided with a payment receipt, then the tables turn. It was him who tried to mislead people comparing an invoice to a payment receipt without mentioning anything about an invoice.
2) Neither Nanda or Biriyani man is fully aware of how the trust is connected to Dayalu Designs, in fact no one knows yet. But the money is going to Dayalu Designs since it's registered as a proprietorship business and they're filing taxes. The only question is why the workshop certificate has the logo on the trust along with Dayalu Designs and she mentions it's from the trust.
3) Again, this is a business and it is never in the best interests of people, it's always about profits. So if you start a small breakfast shop next to Amma unavagam, you won't tell you customers to go to Amma unavagam saying you'll get it there for free or 1rs.
4) Again, it goes both ways. Some people are going to take the stand that it's pricey and some people are going say that it's okay. Most families in TN that earn less than 15K a month are not going to subscribe to her business and watch her videos for 5K just like how many of us are not going to pay 300rs for Ibacco ice cream when you can get quality walls or other ice creams. If she keeps the price at 5600rs, maybe 10 people will join, if she brings it down to 1000rs, maybe 100 people will join, but it is upto her to decide what's more profitable for her or what kind of audience she thinks she wants to cater to.
To me, Biriyani man made a misogynistic comment against tailor akka and it backfired. So he created an entire video targeting her, he doesn't even hide his intentions. In that live video, he behaves like a self centered narcissist who doesn't know how to handle criticisms while he throws shit against many popular influencers saying, "idhu ennoda kelvi dhan okay va". Would any of us be okay with the line of questioning, "nee en veetuku vandha la, appo ennoda phone kaana poidichu, unnoda phone vera odanju iruku, you didn't pick my call two times after I left, so ennoda phone enga??" apdinu public la he's painting a shady/critical opinion accusing the other person expecting the other person to explain themself. And he does this for a job poking others thinking what he's doing is some kind of investigative journalism which he has no idea of how that works. Secondly, even 16 year olds have better composure than this maniac who laughs and abuses individuals in his live stream. He deserves to be in jail imo.
