Mindy, 30, and her husband Larry, 60, have established a huge following online documenting their age-gap relationship. In 2020, the couple began exploring their options to have a baby, made more difficult as Larry had already had a vasectomy. It hasn't been an easy journey for the couple to conceive and after rounds of failed IVF, the couple had almost given up hope until Mindy finally fell pregnant in December 2021. When they shared the news on social media, the announcement led to a tidal wave of backlash, with people accusing the couple of "being selfish" for having a baby because of Larry's age. Despite the criticism, Mindy and Larry say they are excited to welcome their first child and have plans to try for a second one. Mindy said: "We have plans to go back and try again for a second baby, and just raise our family."

Exactly, my dad passed at 87. If not for covid he'd probably still be here. My mom is 88, still drives and does pretty darn well for her age.

@@dannydark1452 yeah I can see large age gaps in marriages being interesting. As long as the relationships are appropriate and nothing too weird and not about gold digging, then it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, I don't really judge what people choose to do unless it's very bad.

So happy for them! The last video I saw they were having issues with the logistics of having one. I was the result of a similar situation. My parents were 32 years apart and my father was 64 when I was born. I had to put him in a nursing home at 19. They seem to know exactly what they're getting into though.

As a person in a large age gap marriage it gets difficult as time goes on. I am always stressed about my husband passing away before me and it's part of my life now. But we had a great son and now a smart and healthy grandson. Good luck to these guys.

But he's really immature and on a completely different level than me so idk if we will last. I'm 35 and he just turned 26. Been together 4 and a half years with a 3 and a half year old lmao! The last woman that was Pro age gap, no matter how young or old. Her partner was over 30 years older. Got together, for 2 years, got married and in 5 years he passed away. Then came the death benefits.

I’ve seen this couple for a few years online now and tbh I couldn’t be happier for them. They’re happy and in love and that’s beautiful and their child is going to be extremely lucky to have such devoted parents that wanted him so badly. All kids and couples should be so lucky. Who gives a damn that two adults have an age gap in this situation!

i support this couple but i hope it will not be too hard on their child. I remember one one my friend had kind of the same situation (her father had her late). She was never teased or anything about that but she saw her father's health deteriorating very much until he died when she was just 15. I know it was very hard on her and I hope their son will be prepared for this..

I wouldn't want kid at that age, which I am very close to, because it's just not fair to the kid. He/she wouldn't have a father, only grand pa. I had my first at 41 and I felt that's a bit too old already.
I got married when I was 24 and have 3 kids,and my husband is 15 years older than me .few weeks ago my son told me secretly that he doesn't want his father to show up by his school because other kids will make fun of his "old" dad(although my husband is 52 and my son is 8)!and that kind of make me sad
@@MaRiAm936 When I was 52, my son was 9, but what helped is that I was a fit 52 year old (and still am now). I weighed 145 lbs and didn't look like an old dad. Even today at 58, I still beat high school varsity kids in double tennis, so no kids can think of me as "old". I don't know what shape your husband is in. My wife is also 11 years younger than me, so we are in similar circumstances, except in our house hold, the kids want me around, since I am the one more involved in their extra curricular activities. But this is the reason why I think being too old and have kids is not fair, because they want you to be involved in their activities, and a lot of those are physically demanding. If I have a kid now, by the time he's 10, I don't know if I can still keep up physically or not.

I'm thrilled to bits for you both, and for your little man, who will have wonderful parents. Age is not a factor to longevity, I should have died in my 30s, (massive stroke that left permanent brain damage), and my mum is 92 and she looks 72 and is blessed with good health, cheekiness and joy. Sounds like you both!! I wish you every skerrick of happiness and good fortune and health that you 3 can handle. With heartfelt love ❤.

They seem very fit for each other hey more power to ya! They worked hard to get a baby too. If y’all don’t know about psychology, usually the older you get the more you want to be around young people. It’s not a bad thing to try to feel younger and it’s actually better for your health. The only thing that grosses me out about age gap relationships is that they get a woman or man 20 years or younger that is near their child’s age.
But once you start talking about a kid that might loose their dad at 10 years old that’s when the conversation starts going a little off if you can’t see that. Everyone has to put that into perspective, and you might have to take care of your husband early too that’s another problem. I’m already taking care of my dad and my parents are only 10 years apart (60/70) I’m 28 my mom was 32 and my dad was 43 when I was born
Once someone is over 20 I don't care who they choose to enter a relationship with, its their life. However if there is a child involved than it's not just their life anymore. It's unnatural and selfish for a 60 year old to have a child and most likely die on the child through old age before the child even becomes an adult. That's not fair, not right, not natural.
They are a married couple & seem to be really happy. People are always gonna have an opinion on how they see things and judge based on what they do. I learned that others people’s opinions have nothing to do with me so I’d say they same for them. Ya’ll live your life and forget what “they” think.

I can't look at them without seeing him as her father. It's hard to. He's basically old enough to be that child's great grandfather and he's old enough to be her father. I have slightly older parents, old enough to be my grandparents, but they're not even a year apart, they just had me and my brother later in their life when they got married. That makes more sense than marrying an old person. Listen you do whatever you want but it's hard to even have anything in common with an older person because you didn't grow up within a few years of each other.

Honestly ther are sweet but it’s totally irresponsible to have a baby. Larry have 60 yo it’s too old, not about how he will be a good father but their child will lost prematurely his dad. Larry will be probably dead when their child get married or have children. I lost my father when I had 6 yo and now I’m 25, I’ve no word for express how I felt so sad about it, and felt lonely even if my mom was always there. I’m sad about thinking my father will never meet my futur husband or children. No children should lives that.
Despite his age, parents die all the time. It’s unfortunate, but a fact of life. His age shouldn’t be a factor. He could have 30+ more years. Someone else could be 27 and only have 3 to give their children. It’s better to think of the time spent instead of the time lost.

I can't even imagine how it feels for his older son haha. I think these two are brilliant together and there's no judgement from me at all, but I could not imagine my mom having another baby in 4 years, when I'm 30 haha. Not that its possible anymore, but just the thought of that, my sibling being younger then my daughter, it would be the weirdest thing ever haha.

I’ve followed along on their channel since their first video on this channel. I was just heading into a very large age gap relationship and I was… very anxious and nervous. Seeing them be a no drama, genuinely happy couple really helped ease my anxiety. They are so awesome! So much love to them!!!!
