I love the finial shoot out scene when the detective and for rest are both laying there shot and then forrest gets up that look in the detectives eyes u can tell he might have started to believe that forrest may in fact be immortal
I just watched that movie! One of those that you have to watch intensely! Can't get up and leave for drinks ! Something might happen while your gone ! And it did! Good sound track ! Damn good movie!

When his throat is cut is one of the most brutal realistic stomach turning scenes in a movie I've ever seen. I must have replayed it a hundred times trying to figure out how they did it. I think they cloned Tom Hardy, grew his clone in an incubator at actually cut his throat.
That one guy is a lawman but wish forest would have beat him like he did his brother that one cop best forests brother in the face with a shotgun and get punched 9 or more times and not one hit back I'm really upset that he did not get what he had coming for the beating of little brother and hope his day is coming for beating up little brother and hope it would have been worse or the same ... I hate that COP this movie used as an actor and when he killed his brothers friend. Beats up forest little brother with a shotgun in the mouth I hate this about this movie see I'm rambling I'm not one bit happy either brother did not get him until the end but wish he did during the movie... you know there are cops out there today think they can do anything and not get repamend for there actions
Oh indeed! Forrest Bondurant really dropping hands on the detective as a lead up to the ultimate showdown would have given this classic story even more classic appeal. The detective was overdue.
Totally agree...he was amazing as Forrest...his cadence when he spoke..how he never lost his temper when he spoke..the bond that these brother's shared was beautiful and moving..this movie didn't get enough credit..shia was moving as well..when his balls dropped at the end it was epic

My great grand daddy was a shine runner back then and stories Ive heard about him was similar to this. He ended going to prison for gutting a banker on our courthouse steps. He was a good man by most counts but one you didn't fuck with but once.
