I cannot believe you luck at these sales...I am desperately waiting for the moment someone tells me to make a pile....and price it accordingly! You are amazing!!! I love every single treasure that you found!!
I love watching different people thrift. Everybody goes after different things. I’ve seen you pass wedgewood up twice. That’s one of the things I look for! So I love how you repurpose stuff!!
We used those clothespins when I was a little girl and I'm sure before up until about 2008 when the junk ones started coming from Japan I'm 79 and still love the smell of the outdoors in our laundry from years back
The pink frosted atomic star vases in back of the baby birds .... so very wonderful.... I looked them up and they are likely worth about $25-35. Wonder how much they would have sold them for. Free old books... and I'm a sucker for old door knobs ... those clothespins, I should have saved mine. Wish I were there!
so many memories when i saw those you called clothes pins we call them pegs and that old shape were called dolly pegs, i remember in the 70s asking my granma why they were called dolly pegs so she took one out of her peg basket , stuck some wool on the top of the round bit added a bit of lace over it drew eyes and a red mouth on the round bit and wrapped a scrap of fabric round the long bit with a ribbon round the middle and said because its a dolly , i had that doll for years i loved it , i live in liverpool in the uk , i really enjoy both your channels , 😀
When I was little, I received that blue and white cat Avon perfume bottle for my birthday. LOVED it!! Don't even remember what the perfume smelled like, just liked the dancing cat.
The clothes pegs that you picked up were used to make dollies when my mum was a little girl. You paint a face on the top and stick yarn on for hair. You then cut and wrap some material round the legs of the peg. This is why they got the name Dolly pegs in the UK. My granddad used to make them for my mum and my aunt.
Oh my…. Those Piano Rolls in the BOXES !!! Gorgeous and love the idea of hanging them on the wall in the box !!!, THAT HUGE PIECE OF WOOD that looks like a piece of a pedestal ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Oh what fun this was !
I kept getting so excited that I got emotional about how most people don't appreciate finds from the past. The doorknob still attached to the wood got me. 😥
Ohmygosh we use to use the vintage clothes pins and an old vintage milk jug to play a game At birthday parties. Ya had to drop the clothes pin into the glass jug from the height of the back of the chair no lower and the person that got the most in won. Oh the memories so much fun. I was born in 1972 I guess I am aging myself real well 😂😂😂 nice finds Jules!!❤
So did they give you a great deal on the total? I'm sure they were happy with how much you helped them clear their inventory! Great finds, Julie! I love the brass deer!!
Wow! What a great place to find. I’m sure the gentleman gave you a good deal. Those piano rolls in the wood holder are gorgeous. I’d love to find something like that. Thanks for taking us along. It’s almost as good as Kilgores. You need to go back for another pile!! Thanks Julie 🛒🛒🛒💕
This is how unselfish I am….I kept thinking, put the camera down Julie and SHOP (like supermarket sweep) 🤣🤣. Favorite item….the wooden piano roll holders. OMGee. I hope you bought all of them. So cool and what a blast. What’s better than a sweet lil old man in an antique store closing ?? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Goodies!! The rectangular white with pink roses ceramic piece mold came out either late 1960’s or 1970. I had one made by a family member 1972. She had her own ceramic molds and kiln so that piece could be about 50 years old.
All my it was so much fun shopping with you in that huge place. I just kept looking and looking. How I would have liked to have been with you in person. Me and all the rest of your subscribers I'm sure you. You are blessed for sure. Love from New Mexico
Julie!!! You must have been pinching yourself. I could picture you grinning from ear to ear. I was just as excited as you were and I wasn’t even there. Great items, not junky at all, as so many clearance sales. What a great video, I’m going to watch it again.
Oh my goodness. I’m sick now that I’ve watched this video. It all sold out so quickly. Getting to see the stuff up close and personal…… oh my. Yes, I’m sick. Lol
Oh my goodness....I'd have to go find a couple of friends with some flat bed trailers! I'd be in so much trouble!!!! My pile would be HUGE!!!! So many good finds! 🤩 My heart smiled extra big when you found that oil painting and the little deer!
OMG I cannot wait until sale. I loved my mystery box and will be getting another. Love the piano rolls and the tiny salt & pepper shakers. Actually everything you got was my favorite. Loved these videos.
I made lavender infused clothes pins for the bathroom by soaking in some essential oils. Then I put some lavender buds in the jar with the pins.
Just seeing this 9 days later and you’re giving me heart palpitations! I’m afraid you’re gonna forget something 😮

THE LITTLE BRASS CONTAINER W/ THE HOLES is a "cricket box". It is thought in some cultures that keeping a cricket in the house is good luck.
You are the first person who is excited to see Avon! My Mamaw sold it for years so I have a soft spot for those items!
Kid in a candy store! I love it! SOOOO Jealous!!! The piano rolls in the wood case would make a great table…glass top, spindle legs
The full boxes with the piano rolls I want one so much
You could make a coffee table out of the wood box with the rolls and add legs and glass
The tiny brass hexagon box with holes,a lid closure and handle is called a cricket box.
We used those clothespins when I was a little girl and I'm sure before up until about 2008 when the junk ones started coming from Japan I'm 79 and still love the smell of the outdoors in our laundry from years back

I didn’t like hanging clothes with clothes pins growing up in the 70-80’s. The dryer was only used on rainy and cloudy days.
