Hey guys, this video is a little layed back and not edited like my normal videos. I made this video for Facebook and decided to go ahead and post it on RUclips as well. I hope y'all enjoy. I wanted to make this not only for y'all but for myself as well, to look back on incase we end up selling it. I didn't show the whole house or property, just a few of my favorite things.

Julie, thank you for sharing your beautiful home in Louisiana. I certainly can see why you refer to it so often. I'm going through a period in my life where I'm needing to look at the memories attached to many of my things and then let go. I won't be able to use them anymore as I'm not in that same place now. So, in my mind I kiss my stuff so long and hold oh so tight to the dear sweet memories of the people and the time of joy and love that was my life when those things were part of it. At this old age of my life, I'm so grateful that I'm learning that there really is a season for all things and a time for all seasons. Sharing so much of your life is a gift to all of us who get to watch and learn. Thank You.

OMgoodness Julie 😃 There are so many things I love about this house 😍 Fantastic brick front porch! Fabulous shell ball. I have a box filled with Avon dolls. My mom used to sell Avon and every time they came out with a new one, she gave it to my daughter. It’s just sitting in my garage. My daughter is a minimalist and has no use of them. Never thought of decorating with them. Thanks for the tour. It’s a beautiful home. I love the openness of the great room and entryway.
As a lower school art teacher for 21 years your older son has talent ! I hope you can find a art program for him maybe they will offer it in the summertime have a great day I so enjoyed your house you’ve done a fabulous job

I love your home and style ,I to am from Louisiana,between New Orleans and baton rouge so I definitely could tell where you were from with your Cajun accent,,when we lived in Connecticut for about 2years in the late 80's the folks there thought we talked funny but in return we thought they did lol.it's nice to see where everyone is from and the cool ways people talk I just love it.
