HA! I cannot believe we both used embroidery hoops inspired by each other! I love how you made that one I got at the yard sale. You nailed it perfectly and all of your projects were the BEST. Thanks for more inspiration and especially how I can use my embroidery hoop on the stand. I always we knew we were Southern bred and drop cloth, embroidery hoop fed! So enjoyed this collab with you and Sherry! It was so much fun!
The embroidery hoop attached to a wood base is a table top embroidery hoop. It sits on a table while you stitch.
I know 🤣 I was so tickled when I saw that. I had a great time doing this video with you ladies 😱
I love Canterbury n green acres, all three of my faves!
The embroidery hoop is exactly what it’s for. You do your embroidery in it and it’s a stand you can sit somewhere when it’s not being worked on.so your handwork is art. You did some amazing projects!
The Paper Towel Holder made into a Wreath hanger is ADORABLE......
Julie I wish I could spend a week in your brain. The imagination that you have it incredible. I find things and know they can be something but I don't have the foresight to make it happen. I love everything you do! Your style fits perfectly into my decor. You keep creating and I'll keep hoping one day to grow up to be just like you.
thanks girl. i try and give you a little look into my brain each week!
Using the.sweater in all the different ways is brilliant!!!
Sherry at Canterbury Cottage is how I found you, Julie as well as Teresa.I am very glad about that! So,I have liked and subscribed to your channel now! And when you said, "Hello, y'all," I felt right at home! I'm in the South, too! Saying 'y'all' is practically required to be a true Southerner! I am watching how you make your ideas come to life! I can see and hear how much you enjoy what you do. Creative people MUST create, don't you think? I have always been that way and then, my dear daughter and I loved to admire each other's projects and we brainstormed together and then did projects together. When I would see different things in clouds, for example, she could instantly see what I was referring to. And then, she would point out more to me- so I could see right away through HER eyes, too. What a lot of fun, relaxing, enjoying and sharing these things with each other. So I am grateful to Sherry at Canterbury Cottage and y"all's great idea to collaborate. And boy, do I love a bargain and then turn it into something different and usually, I think, better! Sorry if that sounded like bragging-bit that is what are trying to do, right? Thank you very much! She and I SO wanted a studio together where we could be organized and then also be able to close a door and no cats, dogs, etc. get in. So much easier than setting everything out and then have to get it all out again--while protecting what we had made or was a work in progress-WIP! I look forward to more of all y'all's channels and terrific ideas. And thank you to all for listing supplies, brands, all that good 'stuff' you need to know, below. Yes, the printables are great. Nice to meet you :) Terri
Everything was soooooo cute! Your lantern turned out great-I only paint them if the glass comes out, but you’re right that chalk paint scrapes off easily. I loved the sled redo-so clever to add clips for photos!
Thanks girl, I'm glad you love it 😘 had so much fun making this video with y'all
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns Me, too!
Love the minnow bucket and the sled. Who am I kidding…I love them all🤗
Well of course these projects are great. I LOVE the lantern. I like small trees around my home, too. Thanks for sharing.
Julie… what amazing ladies you have paired up with ! Sherry and you blow my mind with your creativity! Our Green Acres I have only seen a couple of time..but she is incredible and love her accent just like I do yours ! LOL!!!!
How genius to use the sweater around the big round wood box! I have one that is over 60 years old….I will HAVE TO FIND or purchase a cheap knit sweater and do that ! You did so many projects that I love.. but the Embroidery Hoop….LOVE that with the JOY ……
I do the same thing with ribbon …only I roll it back up no matter how long or short.. bag it up and pull it back out years later ! NO… I do not save wrapping paper or iron it ….😂😂😂😂😂 There is a limit to my madness 🤪
Excellent video….can’t wait to hit Sherry next !
❤️❤️🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲❤️❤️
Yes, got to save that ribbon!! So glad you enjoyed the video
The last project with the galvanized bucket is beautiful! My favorite. 😍
They were all my favorite! Sherry & Teresa are good DIYers! I love everything they make. They are intelligent women with a big imagination.❤️
I loved all your projects today...very inspired. You three ladies are actually my favorite -so I was thrilled to see you all doing this together♥️♥️♥️

Also, the brass bunny with the red scarf is just 🥰😍🥰!!
She so cute. I love staging her
They were all beautiful and genius, but I especially loved the basket for the back of the dining room chair. I was also super impressed with the light-turned lantern and the simplicity of the sweater projects!
Thank you so much!
You know I can't pick just one of your projects. I absolutely love them all.
Thank you 😊

Good luck 👍
Love your ideas. Not the same cookie cutter days everyone does.
thanks!
Yikes!!! I couldn't pick a favorite if my life depended on it. I would put them all in my home!😍
I fell in love with the lantern cloche idea. Its beautiful!!! It doesn't look like a thrifted piece at all. So many ideas. Away we go to the thrift store!!! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Have fun shopping 🛍
Liked everything especially the lantern and bucket
You mind is definitely a crafters brain! I think I like the sweater Idea for my big tree. Now if I could find a round box? I did make my own cloche by glutting a glass knob onto a bowl. I is pretty. I gave my daughter all my old cookie cutters. oh well!! We call that metal bucket a minnow bucket. I am enjoying you a lot. thanks Joyce
Oh my! Hard to pick a favorite! But I really like the baskets idea for the back of your chairs...so cute! Thanks, Julie!
We had those exact cookie cutters when I was a kid!
Oh my! I'm dying over that embroidery hoop 😍😍😍. It is a showstopper for sure! Thank you for all of these wonderful Christmas ideas.
You are welcome. Im glad you liked them
I LOVE the lantern cloche! Now I’m on the hunt for one!
All of your decor you made is so cute but I think if I had to pick one I think it would be the sled!
Those last 2 projects were my favorite! 😍
Very fresh ideas! Love them all, especially white “sweaters” and red ribbon!
thanks!
The wonderful wood boxes are generally cheese boxes for those ginormous rounds of cheese. Such a fun re-use. XOXO
All your projects are so pretty. My favorite is the lantern cloche. And you did an awesome job recreating Teresa's piece.
Thank you 😊
Love all 3 if you. Same concepts but very different styles. Wonderful ladies ❤️
Yes, I thought it would be perfect to offer our audience different styles but the same upcycling concept
You have such an eye for turning anything into something beautiful!
Thank you 😊
My favorite is the light fixture cloche.
Best collab ever! Three of my favorite DIY ladies with so many great ideas for Christmas! 🎄
Love the sweater ideas. I had a bag of clothes to donate to Vietnam Veterans. I knew there was a white sweater in there so got it out and will be using it for some Christmas decorations. Thanks for the timely save. The veterans will be picking up Thursday.
Awesome 😁
I can't pick a favorite. I love the embroidery hoop and the little pouches, you made out of the sweater. The bait bucket was adorable, too.
Thank you 😊
So fun, loved the joy sign!!!

Great ideas! Love them all, couldn't pick just one... well, maybe the vintage cookie cutters as ornaments, or the sled, or.......hahahaha!!!
Everything was nice but I especially Loved the paper towel wreath hanger!
I loved the joy sign and bucket best.
I like the way you reused the sweater. I have a couple I haven't got rid of yet.
Best collaboration ever. I'm a collector of anything JOY. That was my favorite.
All are great projects but my absolute favorite is the mini wreath hanger from the paper towel holder. Great job Julie!
Thank you 😊

*She has shown us SO MANY lantern transformations...uses I never would have thought of on my own...and I like to think 🤔 I am pretty creative‼️🤪🤣🎄🎁 You did Sherry proud 👏👏👏 with your lantern project, my friend❣🥳🥰*
Thanks. Not something I would normally do but I'm glad I did. I love how it came out!
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns *I L🤍VED how it came out, too, so now I'm on the hunt for a lantern I can convert to a cloche for my home. ❤🤍💚*

ruclips.net/video/YmVa1VWQLVw/видео.html
I think the last one was really nice but i loved the sled too
I love the joy sign and the Christmas tree. 💕
thanks girl!
So so cute! I have a tree in my kitchen that I decorate with the vintage cookie cutters (they were my moms), mini rolling pins that I painted the handles red, cinnamon stick bundles and cinnamon/applesauce ornaments that I made eons ago.
My favorite was the little tree sweater and the wreath holder. Super cute
Love that hoop. I have TONS of those in my stash. Thanks for the ideas!
Loved this collaboration! Everything was Christmas cozy, but my favorite was the embroidery hoop project with its beautiful vintage feel.
I just bought a whole lot of embroidery hoops can’t wait to jazz them up!
Great projects! I liked the ease of the paper towel holder and the basket! This was a great collaboration! I will look at thrifted items differently!
you brought the spindles back!!! I could watch videos with the spindle ideas all day! Absolutely gonna make that project! I might even try to do the holder with a simple wood sign that can flip so it has two different signs to choose from :)❤️
Great idea. Yep, I brought some back from Louisiana!
Julie, everything you did is over the top and I'm so excited to replicate some of them.
Love your ideas. I have a bait bucket. My late husband was a fishing guy. Cute idea to use it for a Christmas tree.
I loved the simple but clever use of the sweater to cozy up the container. Years ago my mom washed a “dry clean only” red Fair Isle sweater I loved….wish I still had it!
You got a lot of projects from just one sweater. Everything turned out lovely. Thanks for sharing
What a great collab!! I love each of you ladies!!! My favorite is your Joy embroidery hoop diy!!
I love this collaboration! Three of my favorites ! You are three of my favorites. Love them all!!! Thank you
The joy sign really brought joy 😊
haha, thanks!
Oh my, I love everything you did but my 2 favs (of course, I couldn't pick just one) are the lantern and the Joy sign! So cute! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 😊
The thing Theresa thrifted is an embroidery hoop stand. It holds the hoop so you don't have to hold it while you stitch with both hands.
Love them all!! But the Joy sign is my favorite, going to try and make one for myself!
The embroidery hoop, was great! I have a ton of those things. And no great ideas what to do with the things. Love this one!
Glad you liked it!! check out some of my other videos. i love using these on projects!
