These look delicious! I just took some cranberry jalapeño chicken meatballs out of the freezer (from Costco). I’m going to see what would go good with these to substitute the marinara. Maybe cranberry sauce and Brie?
Yes, I think some brie and cranberry sauce would be yummy.
@@CatherinesPlates they are in the oven as I type, but I didn’t have Brie so I used Gruyère. Smells good in here!

Yes that looks amazing. One could go crazy on variations . I gotta try this i probably be a little hevey on the cheese glad you said something about the cooking spray . I would automatically think a white garlic sauce with Monterey jack or white cheddar cheese and chicken bacon with scallions topping just nuts . It really does me good seeing these because it inspires me alot not just to make whats presented but to try different alterations. 👋

I belong to a crochet group & we take appetizers. I have made these & they are always a hit. I have used a jar of pizza sauce when I didn’t have a jar of pasta sauce.

Thank you for the great appetizer. The only thing I would do different is let the meatballs defrost for about 1/2 hr, and quarter them before placing in the muffin pans, then put the marinara sauce and cheese on top. But they look really yummy Catherine.
Just YUMMMMMM!!!!! I have so much family in Texas!! My Mama’s last living sister is in Mt. Pleasant and and I have tons of cousins in Ft. Worth! I haven’t been to Texas in about 30 yrs!!! We used to go every summer and I absolutely adored it!!!

Yum...you could make just about any flavored combo (mini gyros, crab or shrimp, even Swedish meatballs with the appropriate cheese and sauce or gravy)!

We are a house divided. My husband’s team, Washington huskies are playing my team. The Texas longhorns in the college playoffs. To ease the pain of losing the game (I know he will), I’m going to make this for him. Lol
Want to make these for Christmas Day buffet. Do you think I could put in crockpot on warm setting, or would there be another way to keep warm?
I’d be afraid the crock pot would make them soggy.
I think keep them in the oven at low temp to keep them warm, not sure what the crockpot would do to the texture.
