The tetris skip on this works by not saving anywhere until you reach tetris. Until there, just press R and you can go to to the vines area quite quickly.

THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE I LOVE THISSSSSSSS AAAAAJDKSKWJCKDLEOWOLWLWLWLWLWLWLLW Seriously though this is amazing, and i hope you do more of this game. Also, i would recommend you play I wanna maker. Its on steam, and its an iwbtg fangame that makes you be able to make your own levels. The games full of people making their own iwbtg levels, and theres levels that are BEYOND a normal persons comprehension. If you played it, i would watch it. Maybe a series where you played levels with a specific clear rate, or smth.
Oh hell yeah congrats on the new WR!!! It’s very fun seeing how you dominate the IWBTG Remastered leaderboards, so seeing you start up the original version, while I wasn’t expecting it, is a real pleasant surprise
It has something to do with the death that you do before entering kraidgief. I think the game respawns you as you enter the room, but the game still thinks you are dead. I'm not really sure though.
@@logicpq6884Yeah most of the screens in the game are one long continuous room so that boss fight is probably a separate room. Every room has an instance of the kid which works as a starting point so you would've just taken over that kid without resetting the previous variables (wether you restarted or not) so the game just assumes you're still dead because you haven't hit R
