I think the best example was when chat kept typing puns during GTAV, so he gave them the ability to take screenshots every five minutes if they stopped the puns. They didn't.

I really like when Doug actually gets in he leaderboards despite taking 5hours longer than the next best attempt. It makes me feel happy.
so correct me if I'm wrong but i think the leaderboards show top500 but since there aren't even 500 peggle speedrunners anyone can get in no matter how bad the time
I like how the run got accepted despite using external software for chats shots. it's such a noncompetitive time that the mods were like "yeah, this is a nice laugh"

The latest stream doug had twutch plays peggle for chat to entertain themselves covering 1:6th of the screen. We were on the last two pegs and an extremely hard shot to beat the level with only one ball. Even though it wasn’t with doug or even fully focused on our peggle we still hit the peg at thë perfect spot to hit the final two pegs a fucking nuts shot that I probably would have missed

Doug’s Twitch chat is genuinely funny. They seem like a really great community, which is usually so rare for twitch
It really is. I watched his stream today for like 5 hours straight and chat made me laugh the entire time. You literally never see real arguments in chat and I honestly credit Doug's personality for encouraging great behavior and comradery
It also helps a lot that Doug is very assertive and knows exactly when to shut stuff down if chat gets unruly, and on top of that, does so so gracefully that it doesn't feel authoritarian at all
@@andalouchien Only time I ever saw him get really mad was one time when these "I like my women like I like my..." jokes started getting really dark and like Redditor-edgy. He legit told his mods to permaban anyone who made one again. Considering I saw a girl flip shit on a single commenter for making a pretty lame but basically harmless joke, Doug is a rarity. I think its because most streamers have kinda mediocre personal lives and they invest way too much of thenselves into their entertainment. The line between reality and streaming gets blurred and they forget its a bunch of anonymous monkies blowing off steam.

Fun thing, there was a case in the NBA where a player was technically traded mid-game to the opposing team.
The "technically" here was that at some point they lost power (I think; the game had to be stopped in the middle, I know that much) and had to play the last however-much was left later, the game got scheduled like 2 months later, and in the interim there was a trade to that team.
imagine if they announced it mid-game and the player just goes "fuck it" and takes off his uniform and changes to the opponent's and now it's a 6 V 4
I love how doug was being defensive against twitch chat’s trades to miami and toronto and applebees, while also just straight up complementing twitch chat

What isn't seen in this video is one level that was causing particular difficulty, for which Doug eventually left to pee, and twitch chat essentially won by itself (Doug came back for the final shot and took over)
