How to Pronounce Korean Consonants: ㄷ ㄸ ㅌ

  • In this video, we're going to learn how to pronounce the Korean letters ㄷ, ᄄ, and ᄐ. These sounds are a little difficult for English speakers because they don't exist in the English language, but with a little practice you'll get them down in no time!
    Sienna will be teaching you some easy ways to remember how to pronounce them!

    I don't think this is accurate. Digeut has two sounds. Either D or T depending on its position on the word.

      You are correct, when ㄷ is at the beginning of a syllable, it is pronounced like D. (e.g. 다 = da) When it's at the end of a syllable, it is pronounced like T. (e.g. 받 = bat) ^^

      탁구 is closer to [takgu], not [thakgu]. ^^

      Hello, the creator of this video made the video for Korean, but the phrase " Gising ka na " is in tagalog. It means "Wake up".
