This helped me so much! The specific instruction on how to properly pronounce double consonants was so helpful, and exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you; you're an excellent teacher.
Thank you for your comment, takewithfood! I'm so glad that you found the specific instruction on double consonants helpful. It's great to hear that the video was exactly what you were looking for. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to ask. Your success in learning Korean is my top priority!
From my experience, pronunciation wasn’t really a problem, since I speak Vietnamese some of the letters like “ㅐ” and “ㅔ” is similar to the words “e” and “ê” in viet! However, with the “ㄹ” I always get tongue twisted when it combines with “ㅕ” and “ㅛ”. I got the consonant sound itself down by naturally knowing to touch the roof of my mouth with my tongue by listening to natives speak though! So I wanna say thank you so much for the tips especially the one with the 려 syllable!
안녕하세요 선생님, I started studying Korean by my self on March 2021 and have some issues with pronunciation like other beginners, I will like to congratulate you for this great video it really helped me a lot with the double consonants, but I do have a question about the ㅅ consonant where should I place the tongue to sound more natural? 감사합니다 and keep the good work please.
I love your presentations on pronunciations in Hangul and I understand how to use correct use of sounds and in different situations. Your awesome! 🇰🇷🌸🇰🇷🌺🇰🇷

Yes, I did have a suggestion for a video explanation on the different sides of Hangul in Male style and Hangul in female styles of Hangul. I was told that there is a difference. Thanks again, I am working harder with your encouragement! Fighting! 🥲
Hi Steve! Great suggestion about the differences in Hangul pronunciation between male and female speech styles. You may find my book, Organic Korean, helpful for pronunciation practice. With the book, you'll also get access to free MP3 files(www.alphakoreanclass.com/organickorean/?idx=22), which include male voice recordings to help you understand the nuances. Keep up the fantastic work, and remember, 화이팅! (Fighting!) 🇰🇷💪
im half korean and ive been studying the language and trying to speak it for a while now and this really helped and made me realize some of the mistakes i was making :3 thank you!
감사함니다, this explanation was the only one that has made any sense to me. I have struggled with combining syllables into words and this video has changed that. 🤗
Hi there, ♡Ada beta♡! Thrilled to hear the video clicked with you! You're doing great, don't worry about the struggles - they're just stepping stones to fluency. Keep at it, we're right here with you. Keep the spirit up, happy learning! 😊💪📚
Thank you so much! I always appreciate anything to do with pronunciation!!! My only suggestion is to give a little bit more time to pause the video 😅 Now I'm off to try correct some of my pronunciation 🙏☺️
Yeahh for me pronounciation is so difficult for to converce with someone...But i got some meaning from this cannel i will practice everyday yeahh....thankyou🎉🎉❤
I just started to practice learning Korean because I’m fascinated with the language. Do you have any advice for someone who struggles with self doubt when having trouble grasping these types of concepts?
First off, welcome to the journey of learning Korean! Remember, every language learner faces moments of self-doubt. My advice? Celebrate small wins, I mean everyday! and always remind yourself why you started. You've got this! 💪📚
선생님, eu realmente que você deveria fazer uma Playlist onde você iria dissecar frases, mostrando as estruturas e tudo. Seria um método de ensino muito bom. Os alunos iriam enviar as frases, ou a senhora acharia algum livro em coreano em que envolva muita conversação e iria nos mostrar estruturas aplicadas em verbos e verbo adjetivos, realmente seria maravilhoso!
Thank you for your idea. If you are interested that method, my podcast is already breaking down the verb and showing it as different parts of speech already. You can try it esily when you follow my Instagram (instagram.com/alphakoreanclass/) or facebook.(facebook.com/alphakoreanclass)
I learned with this video that I have not mastered Hangul yet as I thought I must have skipped a lesson I think because you pronounced ㅁ like a _b_ where I said it like _m_ I must go back and review Thank you
I started to learn Korean a month ago, I'm doing fine with reading and writing, but the pronunciation is very difficult for me. I can't pronounce even 닭 correctly! I'm from Bulgaria, I hope, that I can find help here.
I struggle with 요 and 유 and ㅈ. I thought 요 was same as Japanese よ but it seems closer to う. But the girl in the famous vowel pronounciation video says 요 like ”Hey yo!” and here in this video it’s more “yuu” And 유 she say ”You” bjt I thought it was more exaggerated ”youu” from back of throat and with more pointed out lips 자다 지금 is [jada jigum] with less air coming out and no stress in throat perhaps?

Totally get that feeling! Big passages can be intimidating at first. Just take them piece by piece - no need to rush. You're doing great, and with each step, it'll get easier. Hang in there! 😊👍
Yes, it gives English learners Korean pronunciation tips. Shouldn't I explain it in English? Explaining Korean pronunciation in Korean would be beneficial only for aspiring Korean announcers.🙄
Korean teacher doesn't know Korean, saying each letter makes a syllable. Syllables are formed only with vowels. Constants can't form syllables on their. And milk is one syllable in English. Korean-speaking native Koreans usually can't pronounce milk in English in one syllable. Here, free lesson from me for the teacher.
