      That’s cool! I don’t know who Bradley Walker is, but sounds like we are on the same page with drills 😂

    An old blanket on a clothes line can work as well as a net. (Blankets work better than a sheet as they tend to be a little less grippy than a sheet and you might actually pass through a sheet if it's an old disused one.

      I have seen some blanket set ups, I’ve always wanted to try something like that in the house so I can practice if the weather is bad!

      @@GingerSnapDiscGolf Make a disc out of foam with a bit of plastic scrap glued in the grip area for feel and a bit of weight in the middle to give mass, holdonamo.. they make dog chew toys and pool discs that resemble that comment...hmmm

    Innertube from a mountain bike (preferably one with a flat.. because next... cut it at the hole.. or valve... Tie one end to a door handle, the other to your wrist... now practice pull through using the inner tube as a drag weight... You could even attach it to something like a disc rim so you can get the grip etc...
    (I literally just pulled the valve out of an old innertube before I sat down (as a friend is doing some form of pull through training that requires someone to hold his wrist to get the feel of the pull... and I suggested trying this. (and happened to have a couple of inner tubes laying round as that's what I did in my channel... Maybe throwing plastic at trees will be my next u-tub expedition,.

      I think they make something called a “pro pull” as well that helps!

    Let me know any drills you do to work on your pull through!

      there is no pull through,
      pull through = strong aming.

    I think the pull-through here is a misconception. If you slow the video down to 0.25, you can see that the motion happening is the arm going into the power pocket and out. Open-In-Open. But I like the idea of the drill.

      Thank you, I like the idea of the drill too because it’s simple and can be done so quickly! Pull through vs Open in Open or however people word I think is a matter of perspective, or even a combo of the two! Like you have to pull the disc through but you have to pull it a little bit out as well and not like under your armpit if that makes sense 😂
      Also, some people have a more exaggerated open in open pull through like Drew Gibson!

      @@GingerSnapDiscGolf I get what you mean :) I guess I get the "yikes" from the word pull-through as I was taught to pull the lawn mower which is probably one of the worst tips you can get. You just end up pulling your arm with full power and basically throwing with your right shoulder if you are RHBH. I think the hardest part of teaching disc golf is the wording and how people interpret those. Want to add a disclaimer that I'm not a coach or even a good disc golfer.
      Anyways, happy golfing and drilling! :)

      @@seppomeister7591 I couldn’t agree more! The wording when trying to teach disc golf anything is so difficult because there isn’t set in stone wording for anything yet.. it’s basically “word things how you interpret them best” 😂 I’m not a coach either, just a red head with decent form and distance that has fun playing and helping others!

    why do you pull through, the arm should be loose as a whip.

    • @GingerSnapDiscGolf
      @GingerSnapDiscGolf  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yea for sure the arm needs to be loose, but at some point you do need to pull the disc through, IMO!
