Such an interesting lecture, thank you for sharing this good content online! Prof. Ketterle talks with so much passion and enthusiasm about his research work, it's really captivating and for someone like me who is not a physicist it was well understandable. The little "uppsi"s here and there were the most charming part though.
What an excellent, informative and precise exposition of Actuality. Thank you. Electron Holes make a huge difference to Intuitions concerning Crystal resonance structures aks sync-duration connectivity, the Bose-Einsteinian Condensation type, when we hear about One Electron Theory and time-distance in/of flat-space ground-state, which is the Singularity Origin of Zero Kelvin. This lecture proves by example that real-time wave-package Physics is alive and well. Manipulation of photon-phonon positioning is a technique becoming technology. 1-0 probability duality of line-of-sight analog superposition is quantised sync-duration distance distribution, ie temporal superposition Cosmology of Space-time embedded in the logarithmic "2-ness" surface of potential possibilities/i-reflection resonance, Quantum-fields.., in/of which "Exclusion Principle" is another way of thinking, (because you can only imagine it..), "Singularity" is hyper-hypo temporal mapping, time-timing sync-duration. A context for the Theory of Limit, ie 1-0 probability of QM-TIME, aka Superspin Modulation positioning, or wave-packaging Hologram. If the only actual result of this Research is clarity of mind, it is vastly better than deliberate obfuscation by misidentification of natural phenomena.
this 'review' of the science feels as if it reflects someone who has tremendous breadth of experience across experimental setups and of course with great depth of expertise as to how theory is tested and applied through experiment. the sign of a 'true scientist', not just a 'presenter' of the science, but someone who practices the messy art of experiment. one gets the sense that major leaps in our understanding of technology and science truly rest on the aggregate wisdom of deeply experienced individuals like wolfgang. devising experiments and then carrying them out at this level is a staggering achievement. I hope this man lives with excellent health to 150 years old.
wait, 1mm/sec with or without the rotation of the earth (45cm/s) through the Solar System (30km/s), Milky Way (230km/s) & Universe [???? 216Gm/s ??? (towards great attractor)] ... because one is a relative difference that is exponentially huge compared to the miniscule almost nothing Wolfgang presents
The natural first (Occam’s) assumption to explain how or why a particle like a photon (or electron, etc) might behave as an uncertain location particle while also like a polarizable axial or helical wave “packet”, given that everything in the universe from electrons to solar systems are in orbit with something else pulling them into polarizable axial or helical apparent waves depending on the orientation of their orbits as they travel thru space, and given that we know we’re in a sea of undetectable dark matter but don’t know where it’s disbursed, is that they’re in orbit with an undetectable dark matter particle pulling them into polarizable axial or helical apparent waves as they travel where the speed of their orbit determines the wavelength and the diameter is the amplitude which would explain the double slit, uncertainty, etc. No?

100% you can essentially do an undergrad in physics even a graduate degree in physics with what is available online and here on RUclips for free (and if your really a diligent person/hard worker could even do a phd though writing and doing the research required for a thesis is quite intense and requires the type of person who is truly dedicated, but is not completely out of the realm of possible) and it so sad to see the vast majority of ppl not expanding their minds with all this amazing university/ university' level materials and these are the same type of ppl complaint I don't have the money to go to school to learn "these" things whatever the subject may be yet it's somewhere online for free guaranteed..... more ppl really should be taking advantage of the internet and all of the amazing free resources of information it has provided us, it's such a shame.... at least their are some ppl out there who are, like yourself, who instead of watching brain dead vids are trying to expand their mind and learn something new! Cheers and hope you continue down the great path of learning and the amazing benefits it grants you on how you perceive reality and always keeping it interesting for yourself (since there are so many ppl now a days who complain of being bored, which truly befuddles me when they have all of this at their fingertips....
I feel like this is exactly what the internet was meant to be. Not only STEM subjects, but you can learn to paint, or draw, or play a musical instrument. You can study philosophy or history, learn another language. Even practical topics like cooking or starting a business...I cut the cable cord over two decades ago...been an internet hound ever since.
WestOfEarth exactly, I can't tell you how much I owe to the internet and the limitless amount of free resources that have been available to me, everything from learning to cook the dishes I love, to knowing cutting edge in physics, philosophy, chemistry, biology (all their sub fields) etc... I can keep going on but I think you get my point... I've been able to read all the books I've wanted to (basically always for free) it is just amazing, I wasn't joking when I said you can give yourself a phd level education for the cost of paying for internet service and the computer/device you use to access it bc I can assure you that's what I have done in the above subjects I've listed, for me personally I've never wanted to work in the fields Peres but to know about them so I can keep up with the cutting edge has been my entertainment (instead of say watching the same tv shows over and over again like most ppl) I much rather spend my time learning about the world and history and understanding why it is the way it is today.... cheers!
@@metatron5199 I'm with you. I read your first comment, and it had me wondering if it really was possible to earn an accredited PhD complete with thesis work simply utilizing these online resources. Is there a bona fide University that would in some sense sponsor someone's thesis defense? Not that is necessary or even desirable -- learning for its own sake is reward enough. I've not heard of such a thing though. Perhaps you have?
"These stories describe the universe as having begun as a tiny ball of unrealized potential called Amma’s egg. According to the Dogon priests, this ball, which housed all of the seeds or signs of the future universe, *swirled* and intensified while *being seeded*, yet somehow was also *held in stasis for a very long time by two thorns*. As the speed of the spinning egg intensified, it became more difficult to maintain equilibrium, so the egg eventually ruptured and released a whirlwind that scattered primordial matter to all corners of the universe." ruclips.net/video/0AKdmw7Whn0/видео.htmlm25s
_when he says he hopes to present, through his science, something akin to a piece of art or music, he's literally saying, in other words.. I made this s*** up. You people don't realize that. This isn't found in nature, rather he's using nature to reflect his own thinking. It's his imagination. Ever wonder why scientists continue finding all of these subatomic particles? Which by the way have never actually been seen, but rather the mathematical theory in conformity with the experiment produces the effect predicted. The point I am making is that you should be aware physicists are making s*** up. This is not natural science, but the artistic representation of nature. And he said that at the outset, however I think probably none of you watching this video realize it. And so I wanted to point it out to you because he admits it himself. in other words, he's using nature as a symbol for his own theory, and nature is bent to fit his theory. Like Francis Bacon said nature doesn't give up her secrets easily, you have to put her on the rack and torture her. that's what this is. You learn something new everyday_
A couple of hints: Seiens and Füsiks ar kaltschural Etschiefments, yes. But language is too! You seem to be far better in those two "FI:LZ" than in the latter. Nevertheless your LEKTSCHA is informative. And the British, American and Australian English are pronounced differently anyway. But your German accent is cute, Wolfgang. Keep playing "pi:ses of Füsiks" for U.S. The soothing effect of laureate, although the oil was banned for a long time works good for many skin conditions, but should not be applied orally - that leads to mispronunciations. If you are a friend of Max Tagemark (MIT), good. I think he played to many video games and came to the wrong conclusions. The universe is not 3D Mario nor the Matrix.
The setup of speaker and images (including text inserts) is completely annoying - more than the accent. There are 170 subscribers to a NOBEL PRICE WINNER? Oh well - that should tell you. The man is not even a good teacher, he misses the points he makes and forgets to explain basics. But he claims - this LEKTSCHA (lecture) is for the non physicists. Sad, sad, very sad, that people like that are awarded and travel the world on public funds or donation money. But as he said: You have a good life as a scientist.
This isn't his channel are you really that dumb??? It's simply a lecture he gave somewhere which is obvious connected to this channel in some manner.... you really are paying attention to all the wrong things, especially when he gave such a phenomenal talk on the subject at hand, lmao.... pick up some books and start reading....

Still no idea what chemicals they use... A 'neutral atom' - well OK, but electrically or chemically neutral, or both... Are they using noble gases?
Electrically neutral is in essence what chemically neutral means.
