i love crystal fx :D actually i like putting on a bit more soolution via spray bottle so the crystals will be bigger :D another nice thing is masking i did a skorpion on my first try back in the day :D and i like using different colors not black xD
There is a French guy who stole my logo and I kindly asked him to remove it then he started being a total tosser about it and going and disliking all my videos. I can go to my analytics page and every single one of those dislikes is from France so guess who. He seems to have moved on now but for a while I'd be getting a massive spike once a month when he'd login with loads of accounts and dislike all my videos so the true umber of dislikes in my opinion is much less than what's displayed.
now ive done diffent colors of base coat over the silver candy olor tansperant colors. then addedthe crystal soution. then sprayd black and it turned out killer on my test panels. acualy like it better than the silver and then the crystal then blck.
I sprayed clear coat over my plastic headlights, three thick coats, but the results was disappointing, I wanted to use the paint stripper but I am afraid, I told my self what If the paint stepper fried the plastic, I tried sanding but it is a really hard job. do you have any easy way to remove it completely without damaging the plastic?
Hey man have u sprayed much water base paint? We use ppg water at our shop and I really like it the color match and blend ability was just wondering if u used it much and liked it or dis liked it
wes perkins I use envirobase from PPG as well at work i like it, colour matching is decent blending is good, i find some of their blacks a little off. almost milky, we have only had it in for 1 month so still testing it out really. spraying with a SATAjet 5000, and clearing with autothane HS Clear, using a Devilbiss GTi Pro LITE.
you must always use a etch prime on bare aluminum your paint or clear will come off like your channel I'm a 34 year painter if you need anything hit me up
the same effect can be made using fertilizer urea prill and a couple drops of dish soap in water the imfo is also here on youtube look up making chrystal fx using fertilizer much cheaper an no difference

It looks good when you do it initially but if your project is going to be exposed to direct sunlight it will eventually fade away completely and leave you with what looks like colored sand .. terrible product, but just my experience..
First, put the camera on a tripod or figure out how to keep the camera from jumping around. Serious headache! Two, Stop talking like you're committing a verbal assault. You seem to never shut up. Do you breathe? Damn its hard to listen to you w/ that thick Aussie(?) accent. I understand this is supposed to be an instructional video, but you could take a break and just paint or watch the other guy paint, quietly.

I always do crystals over a metallic silver base , than pearl over the top for the color.
