      Cassie Oz buy a 2 lb bag of Epsom salt from dollar store, use ALL of it in bath with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, use low cost variety. This will stimulate lymph glands, give you a (small amount ) of Magnesium thru your skin, it will also help with sleep and to have an easy bowl movement
      Do this 2x a week. This is ingredients of a “Float”. If you can buy Ancient Mineral Magnesium, it’s worth the investment.

    John may want to get those high tech slip on compression sleeves for his knees. They help my arthritic knees a lot. They're on Amazon. Also he needs to get up to at least a 72 hour fast or longer on potassium and sodium chloride salt water and magnesium to help him get through the fast. A long fast generates a lot of growth hormone and stem cells for his knees and other problem areas in the body to repair them.

    Houston, Texas. Happy birthday Dr. Boz. I read your book and like it very much. What about people who don't have a gall bladder taking bile salts with the fat that they eat? I have seen several videos showing how gall stones are removed using a borescope with some "arms" to break up and remove stones without removing the gall bladder. I think that removing a gall bladder is a terrible thing and should be avoided if at all possible. What do you think?

    • @ms.5779
      @ms.5779 5 лет назад +1

      James Edd Wheeler good question!! I don’t have a gall bladder and have to watch what I eat..seems like my food doesn’t “digest” and I have gas!! I have not tried Ox Bile which is said to help break down fat. But I also wonder if I have enough stomach acid to break down food?? For me, it’s about process of elimination. I’ll be having hernia surgery soon!!

    • @JamesEdd3
      @JamesEdd3 5 лет назад

      I drink Apple Cider Vinegar to increase my stomach acid when i eat. I put "some" in a glass of water to drink before and during my meal. Please friend me on FaceBook. I will post some videos on this. facebook.com/JamesEddWheeler3

    • @sarahb112
      @sarahb112 5 лет назад +1

      I don’t have a gallbladder either. I do take bile salts, called of bile. I cannot take a whole pill, it is way too much bile. So I bought empty capsules and I break open the ox bile capsule and I fill just the very bottom of the empty capsule. As a side note, my husband has his gall bladder but his poop floats which means he isn’t using the fat he’s eating. He started taking the same dose ox bile as me, and lo and behold, his poop sinks for the first time in his life. One other thing, I only take the ox bile with the first 2 meals of the day cause if I take it every meal, I get diarrhea. Hope this helps.

Everyone morning I take a powdered multivitamin supplement in an 8 oz. glass of water and add 2 scoops of collagen and 2 tablespoons of sugar free psyllium husk fiber. Is it OK to continue the psyllium husk or should I discontinue using it? I have been in Ketosis every day based on ketone strips.

    Dr. Boz,
    A while back I took a week long Energy Medicine Class. One of our participants, a 42 yr old Horse Reiki Master, told of her having a pacemaker for significant bradycardia. Once controlled, the workup showed a low magnesium. Oral replacements did not bring the magnesium back up. She did work with an Alternative Medicine Therapist who gave her Essential Oils with Magnesium. She now maintains the magnesium level with this topical Essential Oil.
    Do you have any experience with such a treatment?
    Steve from the Shenandoah Valley of VA

    • @DoctorBoz
      @DoctorBoz  5 лет назад +2

      Yes - magnesium is absorbed through the skin. I like the FLOATS ... because of the intense replacement in a short span of time ... but also for the mental time-out with this treatment.

      @Tersia Greeff
      I don't have any idea what is wrong and but suspect that you are not eating enough fat (i.e. your total calorie intake is too low). While the Keto diet is almost universally called a weight loss diet, I believe that title is really not correct. I think it is more of 'bring your weight into balance' diet. That is, if you are underweight, a Keto diet tend toward increasing your weight just as when you are overweight it tends toward reducing your weight.
      The weight reduction part is usually much easier for several reasons. Eating keto reduces craving and makes fasting much easier. Unfortunately it also makes it much easier to under-eat, just as a high carb diet makes it very easy to overeat.
      Having said all of that, I don't Dr. Boz responds to your question because while I'm really quite sure that all of what I said above is true it also might be way too small a view of the 'picture.'

    I do Keto, but the main problem I have is it often sounds like a cure all cure for everything, which bothers me. Any comments on this?

      Yep .. it sounds like snake oil from 1850. Too good to be true ... but step into my clinic of chronic illness ... and watch how many things get better with less insulin ... because of less carbs.

      When you start to feed the body the way it was meant to be fed, lots of different imbalances and derangements start to correct themselves. It's not magic
