I have many of those tools. Some make more sense on bigger jobs and sometimes its hard to remember to use the 'new' tools, but the cabling tools are worth twice the money if you dont need a second guy to pull drops.
Unless your "addition means leaving your already built conduit raceway. With romex you can fish it through walls and take it wherever you want. Imagine trying to add tubing behind your walls

I’m sure somebody’s already commented this but as for the power puller you would never wrap your wire like that around that power pole or that thing would be pulling jet line or mule tape, However if somebody got caught mutilating that wire as you just did I don’t even know what to say man
Next time get some actual electricians to review these and Manny made a mistake because he could of made triple what an auto mechanic makes. Nonetheless these tools are unique and practical but don't see many electricians using them in a commercial environment. I'd probably would just use the device ring plate with the rollers to pull THHN, never seen that one!
Agreed. Especially on a commercial job, the roller plate thing would be hard to keep track of. The others, good for a small contractor with 4-5 guys could make use of the other things. Or they would be killer good for side jobs that you do after 8, 10, or 12 hr. shifts, just time saving on single installation items. Can't imagine ordering 200 of those shark bite boxes on a commercial job without any sheet rock hung yet = Supply company happy,$$$ job foreman = down the road electric, yes hello are you currently accepting applications. Just saying after 25 years on big commercial and industrial jobs in Las Vegas most of that is too cute to bring onto the job. You're going to get laughed right on out of there. But 357 union premadonnas would be eating that shit up as they run a whole 100' of emt per day and no more. Or hang one panel and stub out one or two sticks on a full shift. Such pussies. Give me a a set of prints, a helper kid, a scissor lift and 1,000' of emt I'll bust that rack out.
These tools are not new by a long shot its just nobody buys them or uses them because there all terrible they suck. There's new problems with every new tool the pulling thing that looks like a piece of pipe on your drill... is that a joke??? On the positive side thank you.

Could you please get people that actually know what they’re talking about
😭😭😭
I swear I was just about to talk crap on this, there like this is so cool these tools are old and they suck no ody buys them fir a reason
THANK GOD Lowe's FINALLY brought Ideal electrical tools back. I've never had the desire to buy anything from Southwire except Romex.
I like how they just toss the stuff down after talking about it
😂😂😂
EMT is better for future additions. Things are much harder to add with Romex! Food for thought

Very cool! I’m not a Electricion but I’m sending this vid to my bro in-law who is Thanks guys!! TIA#1!!
Thanks man!
The scariest thing for us in the south and conduit, is floods. That conduit will fill with water and will stay in there and you can’t get it out.
use a vacuum
Nah bro that's why you drill drain holes after installation
@@amoncopeland6747 will those drain holes allow for all the sediment, bacteria and silt come out too?
I feep like i wouldnt even use half of these things
I’ve never heard of the conduit in a house until I saw Erics house
It is required in Beverly Hills and Chicago. I don’t know why
Cuz you are young.
My house is all 3/4 emt
@@amoncopeland6747 probably because my state doesn’t require it
Romex all the way baby
@@pantera1125 rats? I live in the country in Ontario after seeing what mice did when I bought this place I use metal sheathed only.
Is SouthWire exclusive to Lowe’s? I haven’t seen them at HomeDepot.
mostly, you’ll see some things like wire and maybe a few other accesories at home depot
It’s sold by Menard’s in the Mid West.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it

That's the stupidest thing I thought it was a joke
Southwire tools are the worst tools I’ve ever used. Comparable to Harbor freight with prices like Wiha… get outta here
i'm with you nothing like EMT!!!!! Romex sucks! Its good for tying ladders to roof racks!
Is the HERCULES brand (HFT) good, I'm purchasing a multi tool..
I believe so, yes
Yes, VCG Construction recommend it.
too bad lowes is exclusively carrying Ideal Industries for all electricians tools(cuz theyre way better)as of 2021
