How durable is this stuff? I have a sandal with a PU sole thats degrading. Would several coats of the liquid seal hold up in that context?

If you would’ve poured a some into a cake pan. And made a rubber sheet about a half inch thick .That would’ve totally sold me. They showed on TV but I don’t believe it.

I just paid $35.00 for a small can at Walmart It costs $110.00 for a gallon. I wish it was $10.00

Where can you get it for $60? Lowe's has it for $93!!
The Flex Seal website has 1 liquid gallon listed as 89.99, while Home Depot has it for - $179.98, Ace Hardware - $89.99, Lowes - $89.98. (These are website prices, which exclude taxes & shipping) A little goes a long way, so a quart would probably be better. Lowes and Ace frequently have sales on select items, so I'd say they're more worth the trip. Harbor Freight only has the spray can.

Do you think it can be used to repair minor cracks on a retaining wall outside which is of cement right now? Will it stick and can it be painted over it to match the colour of the exterior wall?

The liquid in the can version dries very glossy. It can almost look like it is still wet. The stuff in the spray can is less glossy, more like satin sheen.

it may be random, but 1 application it won't work on is on a wooden post 2 days after after applying an oil based preservative. But only the area or end going into ground. I had a feeling, but had to find out for myself as the wood was dry to the touch. It's not like I applied it to a puddle. On the other hand it did scrape right off. I waited 48 hours to cure btw.

Flex Seal Liquid cannot be top coated with anything other than Flex Seal Liquid, and you can add as many coats as you like. Just allow Flex Seal Liquid to fully dry between coats.Flex Seal Spray can be top coated with most commercially available paints and urethanes.
@@FlexSeal - Could you make the liquid Flex Seal in the same colors as the spray please? Colors come in handy.
