100% agreed! What I find the best are the straight-forward ingredients. Nothing obscure with dozens of ingredients or trying to emulate the "real stuff". Your food just shines!!! You don't even have to say it's vegan, it's just delicious food. PERIOD.

I mean everyone has their own way but when you are showing your cooking skills on a platform, it should be easy and effortless imo. You can't only think of yourselves and what ingredients you have within your reach. Majority of the people around the world mainly youth want budget friendly stuff. Also many don't have access to those 'exotic' ingredients. If they are available then it's like I have to sell my kidneys to buy it lmao. They show some stuff which is hidden somewhere in the Mariana trench lol. It makes veganism look expensive when in reality it's not 🤷🤦🙄 What this gentleman shows are pretty much available in the local market or at a reasonable price in online stores. Plus he doesn't put up those 'flimsy' setups with flowers, a ton of colourful plates and glasses. He is straight to the point and that's the best thing about him! So simple yet so classy. I had back surgery recently antibiotics not great I can tell you this recipe saved my life when for a short while I couldn;t get anything down, saved my life. This one, like so many others, a keeper!!! I so appreciate this channel for so many reasons, tx!
As a non vegan, I can attest that cashew cream pasta is delicious and has the benefit of not being as heavy as cream based sauce. I genuinely enjoy it.
I am italian and used to eat such dishes since i was a kid; this one brought me back to my mom’s kitchen but it is much lighter and as a vegan i can still enjoy the taste of my traditional cuisine! Youare a genious in making authentic tastes but also so simple!
I tried a reduced version of this one and it was still great. So 1/4 tsp garlic powder instead of cloves, and no oil, but I had the cashews, pasta, mushrooms, and dried parsley. Made a nice cream sauce. Tasted great on its own. Then the last half I tried with some crushed walnuts later for added crunch. Cheers from Nov 2023

I finally found a no nonsense chef with easy, affordable recipes you can make in minutes!! I made this pasta recipe yesterday into two batches, and I added chopped, fried red bell peppers into the second batch the following day just to make a slight variation. Oh my, that rich cashew nut sauce!! I was mind blown by the taste. Both batches were so tasty and delicious!! My daughter kept snacking throughout the evening and asked me how I cooked the pasta! Wow!! Thanks again 🤗
There's nothing better than when a talented chef turns his attentions to creating delicious and easy vegan dishes. I resent going to "regular" restaurants (pre-Covid) and the only vegan options are a boring salad, or some sides to cobble together as a meal. Let me start by saying this has quickly become one of my fav vegan cooking channels. I’m new to veganism and still not completely converted over, but your food has shown me how quick, easy and flavorful it can be. I don’t even miss the meat. I made this dish a few minutes because I had everything on hand and wow! I only tweaked a couple of things to my taste like a little bit more garlic, added nutritional yeast, onion powder and a umami mushroom seasoning to the sauce, but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. Very very good and took 15 min tops. Thank you Chef!! I will be purchasing your book.

I made this the other day... with what I had on hand. I added about half of a small steamed Asian sweet potato to the sauce, Because I needed to use it up, it was lovely. Easy dish for a lunch or dinner.

And I had saved this video with an intention of making it eventually and I finally did today. This is THE most mind blowing thing I have made in my entire life!. I still can't believe the finest creaminess from the cashews. Not an iota of vegan awkwardness. This is one of the most delicious dishes I have ever made period. And it IS so easy to make. Just made this for two and it was awesome! I don’t use garlic so instead I used some celery salt and dried oregano. Tasted wonderful. Thank you for this recipe!
For some recipes I crash the garlic and keep the skin, try it! One of the rices I make in the oven I use the whole head cut in half with skin in the middle of the recipient. In general for stews I keep it. Or roasted potatoes in the oven with garlic cloves with the skin, it gets caramelized and they you can squeeze it out. Super yummy.

I used to have a similar nonvegan recipe. Will definitely try this. I used to add a couple of teaspoons of dry sherry, which IMO is great with mushrooms.

I made this today and it's absolutely delicious...it's a plus that it's easy, and filling.
For some recipes I crash the garlic and keep the skin, try it! One of the rices I make in the oven I use the whole head cut in half with skin in the middle of the recipient. In general for stews I keep it. Or roasted potatoes in the oven with garlic cloves with the skin, it gets caramelized and they you can squeeze it out. Super yummy.

I used to have a similar nonvegan recipe. Will definitely try this. I used to add a couple of teaspoons of dry sherry, which IMO is great with mushrooms.
