My father died last week, the last time I visited him in the hospital he was connected to a machine that breathed for him, he did not wake up, but he could still hear. I opened spotify and put my cell phone to his ear so he could listen to "in all conscience", then I played "Tides of time", I wanted both songs to remind me of him and take away a nice memory of when we were in the car listening to Epica. I hope in heaven he is hearing Simone's voice once again
this song brings memories about my father too. He passed away 2 years ago. It was devasting.

My half-brother Alex, passei away At 1998, and my father Carlos At 2013. I can feel him somewhere Here and around my Life. This songs translate me anything Life after death.

EPICA played that song live in the DYU Anniversary tour... Made sure everyone gets to know that song. I discovered that song when they played it live, so I think it was a success.
Can't agree that it's one of EPICA's best songs. I personally prefer the acoustic version, but this one's good too. I generally wouldn't mention any songs from The Quantum Enigma if I were to make a top favourite 15 EPICA songs list (maybe in a 20 favourite songs list, but yeah... I've got a lot of complaints about this album).
Simone is not a human, she is a godess avatar from a higher spiritual dimension. Epica is the most creative best sounding band/act in modern time, musicality beyond all..... And yes, I'm 56 years old

@@Ivan-zo2zl The holographic principle hits different in the feels..its soo good, diverse, & beautiful but still cannot beat TQE. The Solace Sys doesnt have complexity & variousity as much as their studio album bcs its an EP, but I still love the tracks..Architchect of light stand out in this album. And as an anime fans, Epica covering Attack on titan soundtracks is the best gift ever. Im Really excited for waiting their upcoming new album "eight". I've seen their vlogs, it seems gonna be great.

We all know Simone can sing.....so when they do playback it's really just to put the Aftermovie clips together for a better flow of different concerts/venues etc and the visuals they wanted.
